Like i said... you cant avoid the whole Houston took them to the woodshed.
But that's what we do with teams.... we only want to see what we want. Facts are... Vandy has played other SEC schools close... Mizz/Florida.... but what is that really? I can tell you what that means.. It means those schools aren't any good offensively. And that's the truth. Mizz went ALMOST AN ENTIRE month without scoring a TD.
Me you train and wahoo might hold Vandy and Mizz to under 17 points.
I hope you beat the gamecocks this week... but as of right now. Im worried about it.
Like I said, look at how Houston got their points. That game was a low scoring game like every other vandy game throughout until the end when their offense kept turning it over inside their own territory. They held Houston better than anyone by far the whole game and far under what their offensive output usually is.
We all know with treon the Gators offense is not as sharp so the low scoring game was expected, but when you turn it over 4 times you are lucky if you win at all against a team that runs the ball every down and plays really good D. Gators will be better from here in and this week. Don't worry about laying those points. Gators should win by 17 or more against a much worse defense this week and the defense will keep doing their thing and create some points from that alone. Getting some guys back healthy as well

At least you ranked Iowa behind Baylor--the playoff committee revealing their bias once again to old school football and the traditional powers. Is what it is.
I think Baylor blows out Oklahome, relentless scoring. People didn't like Baylor's non-blowout performance in the Thursday game in K St, but Baylor flirted with a cover there, then basically wanted Stidham a complete game and then wanted to get out of there, get it over with--understandable.
Stoops's second trip to Texas another blowout loss. My pick of the week. Baylor by at least two TDs.

I was watching ESPN yesterday and there was a guest on one of the shows, think it was the Russillo show, can't remember who he was, he played for LSU back in the day. ANYWAY, he was talking about how good Bama looked and how impressive the win was, yada yada yada. Then they started talking about how a 1 loss Bama team should be ahead of every undefeated team but Clemson. The main argument was simply this... Look at the B10, they're horrible (referring to Ohio St). Bama plays in the SEC, it isn't close. The B12, laughable.... I'm paraphrasing here but the point is still the same... Ppl continually give bad SEC teams a pass because of those 3 little letters.... S E C
If most ppl could look at that conference with an open mind, they'd see it's not running away with anything. I know I'm just beating a dead horse but it really is astounding. I use Bama as the example because they are the highest ranked SEC team. But who have they really played?? LSU and Ole Miss. The rest of their schedule is just as much of a joke as Ohio states is

Not only would Alabam be favored by at least two TD's over your entire top 4, but they would easily beat them all. If Alabama plays like they did against LSU for the rest of their games, they will EASILY win the National Championship, and it will not even be a game. The only team that stood a remote chance of even slowing us down was LSU, and they failed. Bama is not the same team that lost to Ole Miss, not the team that had struggles against Tennessee, or the team that lost to Ohio St last season. They are the most complete team on both sides of the ball in the nation. There is not a single team that can run on our defense, or handle our pass rush or secondary. And there is not a single team left that has a defense that can stop Derek Henry, and Jake Coker is playing at the top of his game as well.

Spoken like a true Bama fan.

Don't get too butthurt when you find out I am right...
Why would I get butthurt? I might bet on Bama if they make the playoff, and I sure as hell won't have to lay two touchdowns. Statements like you made show the extent of inbred homerism.

(1) Why are you not the same team?? Because you beat a team that you were SPECIFICALLY designed to beat. Congrats
(2) You have no real pass rush. Yes, you get pressure but against a spread, up tempo team, it will be no where in site. And you secondary is no where in the realm or ready to cover legitimate speed and a legitimate passing game. Your back 7 is going to have immense trouble covering in space vs teams with REAL speed, just like they do EVERY YEAR
I love how Alabama fans come out when the media is pounding their chest for them but are never seen again when they play a team with an offense. The time is coming, you're bell is gonna toll

(1) Why are you not the same team?? Because you beat a team that you were SPECIFICALLY designed to beat. We beat Georgia, who had a run heavy yet balanced attack, same with Arkansas, and Texas AnM who had a spread attack the everyone said would "expose our secondary" and instead got shut down.

We are leading the SEC in sacks with 29 and have the best front 7 in college football????? We got pressure on AnM, and they were a spread up tempo team. Our secondary is also leading the SEC in picks... We will absolutely humiliate whoever tried to pass on us.

We have shut down every "offense" in the SEC worth mentioning... We have the best defense in the nation and we will humiliate whoever we play in the playoffs.

I think Alabama is a tough out, but not because their conference up and down is so tough to get through. That is a myth for sure. They need a few weeks to play passively, try things out; then choose their spots to explode. The performance by Alabama was unexpectedly (by me) suffocating and dominant. The LSU QB had to be spot on perfect to move the chains and exploit the 9 men in the box scenario, and he is not that gifted. I think an All-Star team of the SEC, using all the best players from the rest of the SEC, would have a hard time beating Saban at this point of the year. LSU still could have covered that game were it not for a 55 yrs FG and an interception right after the half--HOW LAME TO DEFER TO THE SECOND HALF, ONLY TO TURN THE BALL OVER RIGHT AWAY. Deferring was dumb, and that was the first dumb call by Miles. Running 17 times (not counting the TD--that was smart) right off left tackle and gaining one foot only after a struggle by a very good RB is INSANE. Harris had a few good throws to show his arm and talent, but he didn't have the best game he needed. He missed Fournette on a 3rd and 8 from the 45 yrs line that would have been a first down in Bama territory--he just jacked up the velocity and threw 3 yards outta reach. Mistakes on long heaves are acceptable--that is unforgivable, and Fournette looked at him very puzzled. Credit Bama, but a superb offensive effort gets the job done and a cover if not a SU win.
I have no idea about who will get in and who will win it all, it depends on match ups and whats going on in the practice field and preparation and the minds of players. I do know that the committee is infatuated with big name coaches and perception becomes reality. So the perception is that Bama is so dominating.
Using a retread former FSU QB in Coker sure is a tell that the passing game in a word just sucks. They want to run a punishing back and use the pass to take the air outta you now and then. I wish Bama would lose so we wouldn't get asphyxiated with their asphyxiating style of play, but it aint gonna happen. THERE IS NOT ENOUGH PARITY IN THE SEC. There are some really goofy coaches and poor QB-ing and super conservative play calling. Ole Miss is the exception--good coaching, 15 NFL prospects. That game is history now, and the committee doesn't care about that loss one iota. Miss St will not stop the run of Bama, and Coker just has to not FCK anything up. We'll see some mediocre SEC teams get into bowl games because they play at least 3 cupcakes a year to pad their wins. The PAC12 had the best record last year, and there is parity up and down in that conference. Fact is, the top 2 teams from any of the major 5 conferences could beat each other on any given saturday. That is a fact. But the committee likes old time football and so we'll see "power offense" teams like Ala, OSU, Iowa, Stanford given preference over a Baylor or Okla St. Politicking is 100% legal, and the committee has every right to have a preference. I think Alabama is a legit team and are peaking, so Miss St is in trouble. I think they lay down here, and just take the defeat and move on. They get a winnable bowl game in a few months. They can cheer on Alabama as they get clobbered by Clemson. ND had to avoid one whole side of the Clemson defense because of the dominance of their DE. You won't see them run 17 times into the same unblocked part of the line. But for this week, take ALA -8, and take that to the bank. Love Dak at QB, he's a baller for sure, but this is about W's and Bama cannot afford a loss here, so this will be another heavy lay down punishment.

Who gives a $hit who is better the object is to win money so lets keep winning money here, these soap opera threads seem to keep popping up more and more and none of it is logical, lets leave that catty BS for the chics who watch Reality Shows and keep it betting strategy mmmmkay guys?

Inbred... Never heard that one before living in the south... You come up with that stereotype all on your own?
who the darn cares if Bama wins or the SEC or bal bal bla? We are all here to make money and talk about the best NCAA picks to beat Vegas every week... not to go on an endless discussion of who has the biggest person... pèople here seem to forget we all have the same objective. If you want to talk about what team is the best then this is not the right forum to do so.
can we start talking football? jeeeez I wanna make some cashhhhh

Is this 2014 all over again?
Just make sure nobody is "looking towards the draft" your last couple games of the season Tappy, your coach used that excuse last year.

It is not language arts class Skanless, it's not P.E., football2016, where you can prove how tough you are, it's not finishing school mortgageguy and moodyjeremy where we practice being nice to each other, it's not the espn school of broadcasting tideman where you learn to stroke the overinflated egos of the SEC. This is a site where someone who can consistently pick 60+% winners earns respect and appreciation.
That Boom doesn't love my team or whisper sweet nothings to me bothers me not in the least! What does bother me is your thin-skinned neediness cluttering up the message boards. Pick winners or stop typing. Thank you.

I don't dislike Alabama, but don't get too worked up over beating LSU. Alabama looks the best when they play a team that runs more of a traditional offense and/or has a crappy QB. That's why Saban hates the spread. It tires his guys and messes with defensive rotations. Whether Alabama could beat a team like Clemson would depend on whether they could outscore Clemson. Clemson or any other spread team with a mobile QB doesn't have to shut down Henry to win.
