my bad lol... Im pretty sure I mentioned it in these threads last week. 

Like I said, look at how Houston got their points. That game was a low scoring game like every other vandy game throughout until the end when their offense kept turning it over inside their own territory. They held Houston better than anyone by far the whole game and far under what their offensive output usually is. 

We all know with treon the Gators offense is not as sharp so the low scoring game was expected, but when you turn it over 4 times you are lucky if you win at all against a team that runs the ball every down and plays really good D. Gators will be better from here in and this week. Don't worry about laying those points. Gators should win by 17 or more against a much worse defense this week and the defense will keep doing their thing and create some points from that alone. Getting some guys back healthy as well 

I think Baylor blows out Oklahome, relentless scoring. People didn't like Baylor's non-blowout performance in the Thursday game in K St, but Baylor flirted with a cover there, then basically wanted Stidham a complete game and then wanted to get out of there, get it over with--understandable.

Stoops's second trip to Texas another blowout loss. My pick of the week. Baylor by at least two TDs.

(2) You have no real pass rush.  Yes, you get pressure but against a spread, up tempo team, it will be no where in site.  And you secondary is no where in the realm or ready to cover legitimate speed and a legitimate passing game.  Your back 7 is going to have immense trouble covering in space vs teams with REAL speed, just like they do EVERY YEAR  

 

I love how Alabama fans come out when the media is pounding their chest for them but are never seen again when they play a team with an offense.  The time is coming, you're bell is gonna toll

I have no idea about who will get in and who will win it all, it depends on match ups and whats going on in the practice field and preparation and the minds of players. I do know that the committee is infatuated with big name coaches and perception becomes reality. So the perception is that Bama is so dominating. 

Using a retread former FSU QB in Coker sure is a tell that the passing game in a word just sucks. They want to run a punishing back and use the pass to take the air outta you now and then. I wish Bama would lose so we wouldn't get asphyxiated with their asphyxiating style of play, but it aint gonna happen. THERE IS NOT ENOUGH PARITY IN THE SEC. There are some really goofy coaches and poor QB-ing and super conservative play calling. Ole Miss is the exception--good coaching, 15 NFL prospects. That game is history now, and the committee doesn't care about that loss one iota. Miss St will not stop the run of Bama, and Coker just has to not FCK anything up. We'll see some mediocre SEC teams get into bowl games because they play at least 3 cupcakes a year to pad their wins. The PAC12 had the best record last year, and there is parity up and down in that conference. Fact is, the top 2 teams from any of the major 5 conferences could beat each other on any given saturday. That is a fact. But the committee likes old time football and so we'll see "power offense" teams like Ala, OSU, Iowa, Stanford given preference over a Baylor or Okla St. Politicking is 100% legal, and the committee has every right to have a preference. I think Alabama is a legit team and are peaking, so Miss St is in trouble. I think they lay down here, and just take the defeat and move on. They get a winnable bowl game in a few months. They can cheer on Alabama as they get clobbered by Clemson. ND had to avoid one whole side of the Clemson defense because of the dominance of their DE. You won't see them run 17 times into the same unblocked part of the line.  But for this week, take ALA -8, and take that to the bank. Love Dak at QB, he's a baller for sure, but this is about W's and Bama cannot afford a loss here, so this will be another heavy lay down punishment.

who the darn cares  if Bama wins or the SEC or bal bal bla? We are all here to make money and talk about the best NCAA picks to beat Vegas every week... not to go on an endless discussion of who has the biggest person... pèople here seem to forget we all have the same objective. If you want to talk about what team is the best then this is not the right forum to do so.

I don't dislike Alabama, but don't get too worked up over beating LSU. Alabama looks the best when they play a team that runs more of a traditional offense and/or has a crappy QB. That's why Saban hates the spread. It tires his guys and messes with defensive rotations. Whether Alabama could beat a team like Clemson would depend on whether they could outscore Clemson. Clemson or any other spread team with a mobile QB doesn't have to shut down Henry to win.
