Boom, if you think ESPN or anyone else favours the SEC, than it certainly stinks of hypricsy in here. It's clear your agenda is out to BASH the SEC.

Here are facts:

The SEC is by far the best conference. Had FSU played an SEC schedule, how many losses? At least 3.

How many SEC teams would run the table with FSU's schedule? At least 4. Vegas sharps have Arky a favourite over FSU on a neutrel field.

The top 4 ACC teams played 3 of the bottom 4 SEC teams, as well as a good SEC team. It took the best ACC team another lucky performance to squeak out a win over the 11th ranked SEC team. Lousiville squeaks out a 4 point win over the second last ranked SEC team.

This one will be a question. May I ask you what would hapen had the top 4 SEC teams played 3 of the 4 bottom ACC teams? Whether you admit it or not is irrelevant, but it would be 4+ TD wins with the second stringers coming in sometime in the second half. Bama would be a DD favourite over the best ACC team on a neutral field. I think that says it all. Arkansas, the SEC West cellar dwellar, would be a slight favourite over FSU on a neutral field.

It's so clear why you're pumping up FSU, because you're guilty of the exact same thing you accuse every SEC homer of, supporting your conference.

The fact is, FSU struggled to get by teams that any other team in the top 5 would blow out, and I mean by a significant portion.

I'm not bashing you here, it's just all so clear what your hidden agenda is. You do the same thing SEC fans do, only they actually have a right to.

But, I understand, we'll let Boom Boom have that one. Congrats out the top 4 teams taking out the SEC cellar-dwellars, it must be a heck of a day for ACC fans.

By the way, if you'd like to put your money where your mouth is, I'd be more than willing to wager you on any FSU playoff game. All this, "they just win," talk is bullsh*t.

When you're constantly underwhelming, week after week, as a 3+ TD favourite, and continue to squeak by and win by less than a possession, than you're simply not that good. It's not finding ways to win, it's struggling against bad team and getting lucky to pull wins out, including phantom calls.

The bottom line is, I could care less who out of the top 8 gets in, because it's beyond clear that any team facing FSU is going to win, and most likely win convincingly.

FSU is NOT a top 5 football team this year.

Oregon is great..... when you only have one week to prep for them. Given several weeks, a team loaded with 4 and 5 stars beats them EVERY time. Good gimmicky team though.

None of us know with certainty how FSU would do in the " mighty SEC "... it's non sense...I'm telling you right now there is 3 truths about FSU

1) All they do is win

2) We don't know how they would do vs this team or that team...none of us do, that is a fact. I'm here to tell you I don't know for sure how they would do.. I can't know, none knows! But some of you are so certain that they would lose to this or that team. Please........save and STFU in the process.

3) FSU is not the same team they were last year... but they have a few certain intangibles that most of you know nothing about. It's what separates most of you with understanding this game and how to handicap it.


Look here is a fact.

Missouri ( which I'm not high on at all )  went 2-0 vs the West
Georgia ( which I think is a pretty decent team ) went 2-0 vs the West

And those are facts.

You guys act as if the west is some unbeatable force that can't be argued with. You know what that tells me about most of ya??? It shows exactly what i been telling you for years now. Stop watching ESPN....You are sheep

I have never been on any FSU bandwagon. I just pointed out facts that the slow inbred SEC nation had a hard time digesting.

I'm a somewhat casual college guy, and I'm not here to argue and debate over nonsense(who gives a sh1t what ESPN thinks of the SEC and who spins what?).
But I just read your posts and want to throw in my casual 2 cents.

SEC by far the best conference in college. Are they as dominant as a half decade ago? Probably not. PAC 12 are a step under them(best of the best in Pac 12 could play with the best of the SEC, but I think the SEC overall is much much deeper).

Neutral field FSU against some SEC teams and I think Bama manhandles them. I think Georgia, Auburn, and even Arkansas could beat them as well.

Bama isn't as mighty as they used to be, and I wish the playoff was 8 teams somehow because I would love to see Bama play offensive teams like Oregon and Baylor as well as a great ACC defensive team like Clemson.

I do agree with a few other guys that FSU in the SEC west is a 3 loss team. At the same time, I do agree with you having FSU as number 1 simply out of respect for being perfect last year, and perfect so far this year. I think they deserve respect UNTIL someone knocks them off their mantle and with GT next week and then(assuming thsy win) looking at a possible Bama/Oregon playoff run, we will see just how good they are.

Now what does that really mean? To me nothing...But to you conference guys. Well, not so good for the SEC. But again, i dont think it means much.

But to this continuous notion of the SEC would slaughter FSU or other teams is just nonsense. Please stop it...

 

A little, but OSU was at home for Michigan.....That is the small part of the equation....no Barrett is huge if the committee wants to select the best for teams currently
