I have been lurking on Covers off and on for a few months but don't post often.  I like most of the picks mentioned so I won't repeat what's been said.  
 
I have to wonder why Navy is only -7.5 at home against La Tech?  La Tech allowed 300 yards rushing against Auburn and that's Navy's specialty.  They should get that many or more.  Navy hung with a "slow" Ohio St and if not for 2 turnovers on their side of the field, possibly could have won that game.  I know Navy's defense is not as good as Auburn's but can someone give me a reason not to play this?

UT looked like they have a new "focus".  They had a gameplan and they executed it!  I haven't seen that in awhile there and we put our foot on the gas and kept going for 4 quarters.  We were committed to the running game, which is how you win games at UT and our Defense that was 3rd in the country last year has a great DC now in Kiffin (I liked Chavis too).  The LB play was a question mark and they looked great in the opener.
 
I'm guessing a 31-17 game for this one.  Vols win at home.

 

c'mon, man.   that was wku.  not saying the vols won't improve vs. last season's debacle, but beware of feeling too good about throttling an awfully, awfully bad wku team.

...and the vols really only looked like the better team on the field for 2.5 quarters of that game.

don't you think 28.5 is too many for penn st to give this week?
 
obviously, syracuse isn't a great football team.  obviously, marrone, paulus, et al will struggle in their first away game (tough place to go for away game #1)...but didn't they show enough ability against minn that 28.5 points seems like too many?
 
fwiw, i was thinking of including it as part of the following 6.5 teaser:

uga - 0.5

Hey Gamble I'm sorry man I took it the wrong way I  was wrong. I do want to learn this stuff so that I can win money and not give it away. I do thank everybody for there help. Good luck to us both this week and this season. Again I'm sorry for what I said..
