Contrarian -- I get those questions alot, I try to recommend plays up to certain number in case someone wants my advice & most of the time I get better numbers, although not always, I misjudge a few per month, I'm always trying for any edge I can get but the vast majority of the time a line movement never comes into play
I'd play UFC at less than 25 for decent play & anything under 28 for small, I'd play Wazzu at any number over 11.5 for small & anything over 15 for normal, I'd play Wyoming at less than 27 for normal play
Best of luck

With closing numbers last week I would have been 5-2 but with opening numbers I actually went 6-1, Mary total was 54 for several days, I bet under 54 thinking it would be 34-7 type final, it was 43-10 & I was fortunate to win, that only happens a few times per season in my favor & will also happen against me
My methods have helped over the years more than they've hurt but I'm guilty of getting consumed in "value of a line" at times instead of just picking a winner, still learning after all these years & still looking for any edge in my favor

need to look more into the Oregon defense before I make a play, UVA has decent talent and I like their coaching staff additions but they may be overwhelmed trying to defend the Ducks, I have thoughts as the week goes
i watched the whole oregon/nichols game as i had the over, and i wasn't impressed with oregon's D. nichols consistently moved the ball deep into oregon territory before self imploding with missed fg's, penalties and turnovers. i can't even recall any 3 and outs.

huge game @ Oregon on deck for the Vols and how is their defense? they should be able to put up points on weak WKU secondary but can they keep the Toppers out of the endzone? do some research on their defense and see what you come up with, I don't mind looking it over if you want me to, anytime for good peeps
I'm a big Vols fan, so I can help you out on the D. The two best players (both of whom are potential all-SEC) are up the middle at DT and MLB. The edges were absolutely terrible last year, and the secondary is a huge concern this year. The ten-man two-deep in the secondary includes four non-freshman scholarship players, two true freshmen, and four walk-ons. It's possible that they end up being good, but they're young yet, and the defense was terrible laterally (but good in power situations) last year.

Give Charlie strong the whole summer to prepare & run out Teddy B & you have a tough task, Ohio was overwhelmed but they are a decent squad, north Texas smashing Idaho means nothing to me as everyone will smash Idaho, I lean to Ohio for now but need to look things over before deciding to play it or not

USC defense looked pretty good to me. Their QBs were nothing spectacular and they left their two best runners at home due to injury. But they do have explosive receivers and their TEs are good. I know nothing of Wazzou but WA sure took apart Boise. To me the no. on Hawaii is extremely high as OSU got upset and Hawaii played good d against Troy, our qb needs to improve and we need to find a running game. I think we beat NV in week 4 on the road, I'll be in LV to put some money down then.
