Glad to see you're still around. I took a long break from gambling after I turned $100 into 30K (not shitting you either) in one season in hockey...then moved overseas for work, got out my rhythm and promptly lost 18k of it in 3 weeks before cashing out and quitting. Getting back into it this season though so going to play some college ball this weekend.
I bet this one:
Clemson -3...I read your comments on this one. I know if Louisville are ever going to beat them it's going to be this weekend, but I had to lay. the low number on that defence. I watched the Cardinals last weekend and the QB is an all timer, but their D is weak. So taking what I think is the more balanced team.
Wanna play one more game and considering the below. Thoughts?
Duke -14...the very idea I'm considering laying 14 points on a Duke team not led by coach K is Twilight zone garbage, but WTF happened to Baylor? They lost at home to 2 Pee Wee teams.
Wake -13.5...an anti Utah State on the road play plus an improving team and good D; but not sure about Wake laying DD yet
Wyoming +13.5...great home dog against shitty road fav + altitude. I think that Wyoming QB although hasn't looked great so far could put up some points on Oregon at home
Cheers man
I definitely remember you bro, you were one of the best we had for many years
my thoughts on your games
I have Clemson as the top team in the country since they are defending champs and have an unreal defense, however I think this is a tough spot this week, Louisiville isn't as good as they were at the time these two played last year, really though Ville was the better team at the time of that game but Clemson so many beneficial calls and were able to retake the lead, as the season went on Ville showed flaws on their offensive line and Clemson ended up being the nations top team
Lamar has added a much better passing game this year, he looks like a better player than he was last year, Louisville wasn't going to run on Clemson anyhow so LJ will need a great game with his arm and his scramble ability
my LEAN is Louisville in this game because Clemson just played a very physical Auburn team in a huge night atmosphere and now have to hit the road against a team with revenge angle, I personally am hesitant to bet Ville because they still make awful mistakes, dumb penalties (10 false starts in a game
), Bobby can coach but his team is weak on special teams (kickoff returns) and they tend to beat themselves in the biggest games, for that reason I'm hesitant to bet the game, I think the spot favors Louisville big time though
agree with your lean on Duke, that is the only way I could see anyone betting that game, Baylor is simply pathetic and those players have no desire to play for Rhule, you can't have their talent and lose to Liberty & UTSA if you actually care, Duke is well coached and should win this game comfortably, not sure on score but I'd say 34-16 or so
Wake is improved and I like their team but not sure I'm ready to lay that double digit line with them just yet, maybe a good one to wait on 2nd half, the Utah St defense can throw some exotic looks at you and it can take time to adjust, no real opinion on this game so can't really help you
Wyoming is an amazing home dog, just look at their results last year, think they won all games outright from my memory (without actually looking it up), they should score on Oregon but will need turnovers to keep pace I'd imagine, Wyoming doesn't have defensive talent to stop Oregon that this may be a nail biter but if the Wyoming QB plays to his talent level then you may have a great game, Oregon's offense looked to me vs Nebraska in the first half so you need to avoid that quick start and match scores if you have Wyoming
thanks for the post and great to see you around Meteor (sorry, can't call you that new name)
