Week 3 Money

for those of you who follow NFL cheer for the fins today, when they cover I’m treating myself to a Wendy’s frosty for the fawk of it, I can’t have sugar right now but I’m a gambler & feeling “white trashy” 

I’ll make mistakes with threads & typos next couple weeks, I’m still going to win, I’m just on heavy drugs lately & I’ll type like an old dying guy that’s battled Covid too much, I’ll still do my best to give you opinions on games if you ask, just don’t expect the “intelligence” on answers, I’m half dead peoples , be patient with Hoo on spelling & the ability to make sense, im sure most of you only care about winning so I should be able to do that going forward 

I actually got to watch lots of football yesterday between naps & oxygen breaks, saw some very helpful stuff 

thoughts week 2:

Texas was the better team on Saturday, that’s almost impossible to think of considering they aren’t that good & had zero players drafted, Sark can coach & hopefully they give him a few years in Austin, glad they didn’t win in a way because we don’t need the “Texas is back” bs to start, those kids need to keep working hard, Alabama would most likely beat them by 17+ in most weeks but this Saturday they should have lost, those refs should be ashamed, since Sark hire I’m a Texas fan, I personally thought they’d hang early then get run out of there, surprising performance, they still need to get stronger & better on both lines

a hire I was wrong about is Scott Frost, he’s done in Lincoln, he lost the game vs NW himself & his defense is a tragedy, I feel for him but he got paid big to take that job so he’s going to be fine, he’s a great o-coord candidate for a big program that’ll need one next season, sad day to be a Husker because they needed better from the hometown hero

if byu had their weapons they run Baylor out of Provo, will see if they get them for the visit to Oregon this week

Usc is fast but typical Riley defense that can’t stop a small breeze, they have to live on turnovers or simply outscore opponents until he gets a new d coord & more 4 & 5 stars on that side

penn st is solid this season, I can’t get behind 36 yr old Clifford but they’ll make a run in the Big, this may be franklins best team in happy valley, don’t be scared to make the qb switch coach

Ohio st needs to get it going on offense, love that program but not impressed with that team yet or who I consider one of the best 2 or 3 Qb’s in the country, it’s early & Day should get them going 

Utsa & Houston games have been fun, wow, I follow both programs closely 

Notre Dame is quite frankly “poorly coached”, they lost that game because of their coach, people close to BK hinted that ND gave wrong guy the job but nobody wanted to say it out loud

proper words can’t describe how bad Charlotte plays defense 

If Pitt could make a fg or keep anyone at all healthy they beat Tenny this week, Pitt offense was brutal to watch in 4th & OT, Nardummy should have gone for 2 in regulation instead of trying to play OT with a backup on 1 leg, stupid coaching 

Wazzu winning at Wisky was predictable , I had Cougs but didn’t get it posted by mistake, consin 3 runs & punt 1982 offense, fawk right off with that awful scheme in 2022

speaking of 3 runs & a punt, I’m certain Iowa is thrilled with their offense & the billion dollar extension they gave to Ferentz, what a joke, that offense doesn’t deserve tv coverage

Thoughts on the Washington Huskies vs Michigan State this weekend?

Surprised I don't see more out there on Texas getting killed by refs on 2 calls...1) I still don't understand the targeting in end zone on Young. So complex but I think should have been safety'' 2) missing the blatant facemask. Would likely have scored TD and would have been 2 score game in the 4th quarter

I do understand how refs could screw much of that up

Penix amazing at UW... But probably porous defense

im not one to cry about refs, I had no bets on the game but that was one of the most 1 sided officiated games I’ve seen in a while, Bama was gifted that game, they definitely have the better team but they should have lost yesterday, that’s how I see it

 Spot on with USC.  Without 2 of those 3 turnovers, Stanford wins.  

Thoughts on UVa? Illinois turned the ball over four times, and won without breaking a sweat. Hoos were bad at everything. 

Can not be one sided on Pitt recap…I assume you saw Tennessee drop a td pass, have a punt blocked, and also muff a punt…so if Pitt could have won then Tennessee could have won by 14 or more

Looking forward to them out behind the woodshed beating plays 

Possibly Georgia this weekend

so I went to go get my frosty after first large money winner on Dolphins & machine was having issues, maybe the gambling gods way of telling me I need to show them more

Thoughts on Pitt -10 vs Western Mich…possibly playing without Slovis? Feel like this line should be Pitt -6.5 or less.

 Nope…game played out accordingly…just foolish to think it was only Pitt making mistakes, good way to lose money by not capping it correctly

Talk to me about your boys....off a double OT loss on the road in Provo....with a road game at Iowa St on deck....sandwiched in the middle they are laying 31 to Tex St....I dont see anyway I could possibly bet on Baylor laying 5 scores in this spot....
