big line but could only look at Georgia as I feel they are the best team in the country once again
its those every so often tight conference games that bother me but I have to at least lean Georgia

I was on Bama because I capped the game based on how Texas has played recently...Two factors would have enabled Texas to win the game...1) Had Quinn Ewers not been injured, 2) former TCU Coach Gary Patterson, a defensive guru, is now a special assistant to Sark. It has been rumored that Patterson worked specifically on the game plan against Alabama for the last 3 months. It was evident to anyone who has watched Texas recently including that same D that allowed Kansas to score 57 points last November and who defeated Texas 57 to 56...at Austin...Gary Patterson is in my opinion calling the shots on D as the quasi DC. And that is our secret weapon...and why the stakes have been dramatically raised for Texas potential this season and certainly entering the SEC in 2025. This wasn't just an off day for Bama...Yes, they figured out a way to win, but they had the battle of their lives. I am sure Saban will adjust, and I am sure Texas play with optimal effort, that may or may not be able to be replicated. I think Texas has the potential to win all of its remaining regular season games, if we come with the same intensity that we did on Saturday, and in my opinion 11-1 or 12-1 with that close loss to Bama, would get Texas in the CFP, in 2022...I know its delusional, we are not back yet, close to a win is not the same as a win, yada yada yada...Texas put the college football world on notice that though we may not be "back" yet, we have started the process...and we will not be an easy out...

@LB_Dirtbags
Agree they look like a wounded duck, haven't seen W.Mich but sounds like they are out performing so far ... I was so looking forward to hitting Pitt in a revenge spot off a Tenn loss .. woulda made the play w a healthy Patti for sure but no idea really doubt he will .. guy got a twisted knee hobbling around and takes em to OT musta been kinda inspiring .. tough to play all out for 3 games in a row esp #3 is a G5 muscle relaxer but man whole team gotta know this is the do or die moment for this season and everyone better show up blasting this team no matter whose under center no missed blocks no mistakes pass rush level 10,000 .. RHI on deck they can take a nap in that one .. that's my guess anyway ... obvi like to know who the QB is gunna be though lol ..

I just don’t want the players thinking they are back , I want them hungry, we will find out this week when a feisty utsa team rolls in, spot favors them as this is their super bowl & Horns coming off heartbreaker with lots of emotions , they need to fire up the troops or this one could be a surprise imo
defense was brilliant considering where they were last season, Patterson is a nice hire
im on your side now , horns are in my network with Sark being there , hook ‘em

Ah, geez. Thanks, Wahoo. I intended to paste the teams I was referring to. I consider them worth a look for a letdown. I swear I pasted them...let's try again:

Ok, paste doesn't work. Geez:
Georgia Southern - scoring maching- can they do it again
KU - Houston ain't no chump. Especially after huge win by KU vs WVU on the road (i hit the ML, btw- ha)
Marshall - biggest win since when?
BYU - 2 OTs and get it done vs BU
Appy St - just played two exhausting games
Might be a few others coming off upsets.

Hey Wahoo....much respect on your acknowledgement that you backed Frost over the years. I remember. Many would not say anything and just call him a bum, but its classy of you to mention it and still think he has something positive to offer. I think he genuinely tries his ass off, but sometimes when you grip it tight, you shank your ball.
That BYU-Baylor game was gritty and lots of drama. I cannot believe how poorly formed is the Baylor QB but I give him props for not panicking until the end of the game when the kickers were kept out of the script and it was on him or HALL.....who impressed me a lot that game because their running game was meh, or Baylor's dee was electric!
I am scanning all Baylor games with poor run defense! They can block and run tough against any team.
Have a good week my friend

he came from the ideal coaching tree, he was amazing at UCF, he’s an alumni, he coaches modern day tempo, I thought he was a great hire for the Huskers, I usually do quite well identifying coaches & fits but was simply dead wrong on this one, it’s almost unbelievable how bad his tenure was & how many close games he lost, think he lost 22 one score games, sometimes the “perfect fit” isn’t perfect, his teams self destructed with turnovers & penalties, bad tackling & bad defense
hes getting 15 million dollar buyout, 15 million dollars for those results on top of what he already made, he’s set financially & will get another shot to coach somewhere
Iowa should hire him to coach their offense, they have 14 points in 2 games, how’s that even possible in 2022 at a legit program ?
thanks for post , I admit when I’m wrong (which is often according to last girl I dated)

it’s been a rough couple of years , had Covid several times & just can’t seem to recover, I may die at some point but I’ll be betting while dying
Life is precious & I’ve lived a great one, I’m very thankful for everything so good with whatever happens
hopefully I can get back to speed one day but that seems a bit away
hope you’re doing well you have always been class since I’ve been around

Waiting on “sharp money” to move my line before dropping the hammer, not sure who’s betting against my game but someone is, it is moving my way so I’m watching it closely
they are choosing the wrong side with that early action
I’ll put some smaller stuff up soon , just getting caught up on injuries etc
let’s have a gem of a week

I need to at Kansas more, are they THAT much better from the portal ? I leaned to them last week just like you (although not moneyline , great job calling that)
Houston coming off two very tough road games & OT , I need to see how they are this week at practice & get a better feel but I see what track you’re on
Marshall is in bad spot but betting bowling green not high on my things to do list if I’m honest , for a spot bettor BG is Christmas so I get it
I’ll look at others as week goes
you’ve always been a hidden gem on this site, low key winner
thanks for post
