This mentality is part of the problem............if Ohio State were to lose only to Michigan State, no SEC team with any two losses should be ahead of them.
This is the problem. You're not gonna be fix it....
EsecPN has created this monster. People are like sheep...feed em a little BS and they call it the gospel.
Im at a point where I know nothing can be done about it...until maybe Fox rivals them and competes.
EsecPN is the worst thing that has ever happened to the ordinary college football fan....The ordinary fan really has not much knowledge about the game and they rely on EsecPN to give it to them. They feed all these BS lines like....
1. A 2 loss sec team is better 2. The game didnt count 3. SEC Speed 4. They beat up on each other 5. Big boy football the list goes on and on.......
it's the signs and times we're in now theses days.... IMO EsecPN has hurt the game of college football.

ESPN has more lucrative contracts with the ACC, Pac-12 and the Big 12 (the latter two being shared with FOX), than they do with SEC. And ESPN doesn't even have first-tier rights with with the SEC. They have vested interests in broadcasting the best match ups football can give back to the fans. If anything, the major networks are helping the game by expanding the hype and taking huge steps to diversify the coverage of all schools, regardless of conference affiliation.

Typical overreaction to the SEC not having the best start to a season...(all the while winning just about every out of conference game that actually mattered). Look at the recruiting rankings every year, SEC has about half of the teams in the top 10, sometimes more. It's not BS, blah blah, or any sort of media jacking as Boom likes to think.
It actually took a lot for the SEC to get to this point, winning seven national championships in the last nine years. Every bowl game it's the SEC's number 6 or 7 team against "insert conference here" number 2 and most times the SEC still wins, yet you'll still see Boom or some other conference fan pumping their chest about x team finally beating an SEC team.
Ohio State is a perfect example. SEC made them their girl for years and all because they beat Bama last year "THE SEC IS dead!" Neverminding sample size or anything else at all really. All I'm going to say is that for you Boom, reality is going to come crashing back down to earth when the SEC wins this years NC with probably Ole Miss or Bama, and so on and so on the years will go again.

Nothing lasts forever. In the 70's, the Big 8 was probably the strongest conference (in 1971, Nebraska/Oklahoma/Colorado finished 1-2-3).....in the 80's, Miami and Penn State each won multiple championships................in the 90's, it was Nebraska and Florida State....now, the SEC is having (or maybe just had) their run. It's mostly the newby bandwagon SEC fans that don't get it..

6. Anyone remember the press conference the Old ball sack called out of the blue about a week after SEC media days? Claiming that the gamecocks had "enemy's"? Well...... What say you now Old ball sack? Only Enemy I see is that you have no QB. This team is garbage Steve . I actually think Kentucky should have beat you by 3 TD's last night. only problem is that the other guy on the other sidelines is an idiot too. Welcome back to your place in history gamecock fans, the run is over.
Yes Im afraid that run is over and Maybe, Maybe next year we can start a new one....We Gamecock fans are going to expect a retraction after SC beats Georgia this weekend from you Boom-Boom. Yea I know it looks like no way in hell the Cocks can win but Spurrier has some kind of Mojo or juju on Georgia so we will see if he can put the Skank on the Dawgs in Dawg town and we Gamecocks fans will gladly accept your apology Boom-Boom...LOL

agree 100% on the ESPiN comments. its a cram job by them on public just like any other story. they try to be trendy and be with the cool/dominant teams and the run for the sec has been over. its only getting worse for them as the rest of the teams have evened up.
disagree 75% on Hackenberg and I have no idea why you have such a hatred for him. he is impossible to scout because his o line is so bad, his o coordinator is a complete joke. His freshman year he was very good with a NFL offensive mind coaching him in O'Brien. O'Brien used tight ends, created space on offense and actually used screen passes. I do not know a qb in college who throws a better deep ball yet PSU refuses to throw deep balls. No doubt the kids cage has been rattled when you get sacked 54 times in his last 13 games, but how many qbs in college have lead their teams back on a final drive more than him. NONE is the answer and he did it in last years bowl game. My biggest criticism of him as a fan is he does not make the best decisions at times and throws short passes with too much heat on it. He's like a caged siberian tiger in this offense with this o line and o coordinator.
I would bet a lot he will succeed in spades at the next level, especially if he lands back with O'Brien in Houston. He has all the intangibles. We will see.

I want you to go team-by-team. None of this opinionated b.s. I want you to go team-by-team and show me a conference better than the SEC. I literally want you to list out the entire ACC (for example) and tell me how Boston College, Duke, Pittsburgh, Virginia, Maryland, Wake Forest, etc. can compete with teams in the SEC. Even a team like Kentucky would slaughter all of these teams.

Maybe the problem with the SEC hype has nothing to do with ALA, LSU, and FL.
Maybe it has everything to do with the rest of the conference riding the coat tails of these team's success.
When OHSt won the NC, did INDI and PURD fans come out of the woodwork and try to claim the trophy too? Just because they compete in the same conference?
When FLSt won, did we hear non-stop from the BC and SYR fans that THEIR conf was the best in the country?
Living in Tennessee now, i can say for fact. "SEC" fans were upset that they expanded with MIZZ and TXAM. Stating, "No one can hang with the schedule; it'll bring the conference down."
Just an observation from someone that has lived in the heart of the above listed conferences.

I do know that Louisville is the best 0-3 team in the country and we might get some really good value on their lines for the next few weeks- They could easily be 2-1 or even 3-0- -
I think it is hard to tell just how good/bad Clemson is - They are definately a solid ball club- Watson just seems to be lacking in confidence a bit- not sure but he just doesn't seem as comfortable or explosvie- I can't quit put my finger on it- Thoughts Boom?

Lets compare Clemson's game with the Auburn's game vs. UL:
Auburn
-327 total yards
-Neutral Field
-All fall camp to prepare for UL
-Full Rest
Clemson
-401 total yards
-True Road Game
-3 days in fall camp and this week to prepare for UL
-Short rest
Also, that was the best front 7 Watson will see all season so he will be fine.

Clemson is fine... That score was deceiving a little. Clemson dominated that game. The defense only gave up 270 yds... thats really good in todays game.
The defense once again is really good. I knew they would be even tho people were speaking of all the defensive players that were gone.
Watson is fine. He made 2 bad passes last night, really that's it. Clemson will get better each week and mu opinion is the same as it was before, this is one of the best teams in the country. They just need to get healthy.. we're down a lot of guys right now. Numbers start to matter at depth when you have had so many hurt.
My biggest concern with this team is special teams...it has been for a while now. We have GOT to get better at special teams.

Maryland doesn't play in the ACC and hasn't for 2 years. so there is that........
Reading comprehension really eludes some of you. I have said repeatedly that I thought the SEC was still the best overall conference.....but not nearly as much as you sheep think.
