Speaking of Dead Man Coaching, Vols, if you want to take the expensive way out, and fire Butch, you better have somebody better than him on Line One, understand? Oh, UMass, which gave the Vols fits, just lost to THE Ohio Bobcats, 58-50. That’s right, a 50-burger, with cheese. That’s 27 straight losses vs. a Top Ten teams for the Vols, but who’s counting?

I thought there was NO WAY Clemson was going to do anything big this year. They had a once in a generation guy at Qb, right? If Deshaun Watson is a “system” quarterback, that is one HELL OF A SYSTEM.

Clemson just became the first team to beat 3 Top 15 teams before October. No big deal.

For a little too long, there was no running water at Kyle field for Texas  A&M. So, if you had to go, you had to go. I mean, really. I’m not kidding. You had to leave the stadium! No wonder those guys are always standing……..

Oregon Ducks lost Herbert, so they relied on the running game to beat Cal. Boy, did they. How about running it up to 331 yards to E-I-G-H-T. That is not a typo……..

I had SMU giving 16.5 to UConn, and after the first play in the 4th quarter, it was tied at 28-28. You should have heard the names DoubleUp4Life was calling me! He was threatening to throw his Samsung through a window, when the finish of every gamblers dream happened. Ponies came right back with a touchdown. 35-28. Then they did it again after a 3-and-out from “high-flying” UConn. 42-28. They kickoff, and the UConn returner fumbles while on his back on top of a SMU player! He wasn’t down, so it’s a fumble, Ponies pick it up and advance it. A 28-yard TD run later, and it’s 49-28. That’s how it ended, and I told DU I’m glad I saved his television.
