Add KSU +11.5, and ML (small)
What started as a homer play now looks like a good bet to me. Pre-season, this was one I was planning on unloading on KSU. But...the qb situation didn't work out as planned so I backed off a bit. Anyhoo, I’ll upgrade it from my original homer bet at +10 to a legit reasonable play at +11.5.
I like the circumstances. NU's last game in Manhattan. These teams have been playing since…1913 or something like that? Who wants this game worse? The Huskers are moving on to bigger and better things…as a Top Ten team, they just need to mop up the conf schedule, dot a few i's, cross a few t's, and move on, right?
I think KSU's players and fans want this game worse. The stadium and environment will be a huge plus. 10-12 points seems too many for a highly charged game like this. Now the only question is….do I book a flight to KC? I think I shall!
Add Syracuse +10...I just don't think Syracuse is +10 bad, and USF isn't -10 good.
