Wahoo / others -- can someone explain all the love for Missouri +8 /+9 on this site?
Missouri has played Vandy, Ark State, Indiana, Toledo and Murray State to date. Missou stats are inflated due to their schedule. I would put Georgia's schedule up against anyone's....Georgia is at home.
Georgia won 41-20 last year at Mizzou. Mizzou is ranked #122 in the country against the pass! Missou does have a better run defense.
Yes, I realize Gurley is out - yes I realize Georgia is banged up but could Georgia win by 10 ...absolutely. I anticipate at least 40+ pass attempts by Aaron Murray and 3 passing TDs. Clearly, I am missing something.....thanks guys!
Tigers actually led 17-9 in third quarter last year at Mizzou and completely let it slip away with numerous bad plays.
Tigers line in 2012 absolutely decimated prior to the season, as well as a banged up James Franklin, and no Josey at RB. 2013 injuries are basically nothing. They have a 4 headed running game, each with over 250 yards this year, two 6'5" WR, a healthy QB with his moxy back playing as he did in 2011. New OC Henson has moved away from the jet screens play after play, different offense.
Keep an eye on Michael Sam as well, two time DL player of the week in the SEC this year. Little small but very salty.
Definitely have a punchers chance for a W let alone a cover.
Hope this helps.

I love the Georgia offense but they are a mash unit right now bro, they are mentally tired and their defense is the most predictable in college football for opposing coaches, I think Pinkel is overmatched in most games but not this one, I don't know how good this Mizzou team really is but if I were betting that game I would be taking the points and not laying them
I don't have to worry about it though because I will watch this game as a fan only for future notes, I will not be betting it

I suppose every guru has to come down from the mountain eventually, but it would be a downer to see you ride off into the sunset. It'll be one less reason to check out Covers.
Just wanted to say I've appreciated your analytics and intelligence over the years. And I can remember when this was a forum for sharing information rather than hectoring people...
Best, RT2
I never get messed with, a few back and forth rants on occasion but nothing of note, I just post what I bet and always have, I would never get "run off" from Covers, I may have stopped posting for a few weeks over the years because I lost (or for whatever reason) but not because someone here bothered me, I don't let people who post online bother me enough to leave. I take people's opinions into consideration if they have a track record of winning and I respect their abilities, there are very few that fit into that category
thank you for the kind words, hope you smash your book

figured you pounded that Baylor opener....yeah I stay out of here mostly on game days....was thinking about small degenerate play on KSU if it gets to 21+, tough to buck a team averaging 70.5.....BOL this week my friend
many better fights to pick on the board, I can see not betting Baylor but no reason to get in their way at the moment, they seem to cover spreads and score at will, I've never been a Baylor fan but this squad is different, they are stupid fast

Got Baylor at (-17) last night... seems like there is a lot of love for K St on this forum... to quote covers:
1) What am I missing?
2) Is this a trap?
3) Should I hedge?
4) Will this be a covers bloodbath?
I kid!
GL this weekend! You've always been solid and one of the best around here, but I think anyone would be hard-pressed to suggest anyone is seeing the board more clearly than you these days...
Keep it rolling!

I know, trust me, it's all over the board this week, I suppose every Baylor and Oregon games have been traps thus far, the oddsmakers are trapped and the sharps are getting smoked fading those teams, there will come a point when one or both of them don't cover ATS during a week, will this be the week? I don't know, what I do know is I'm not dumb enough to think I have value betting against teams that can score 55 without breaking a sweat, too many games on the board to fawk with that, I didn't get where I am by being a sharp
ps: I actually semi lean to Washington this week with that awesome HFA and the fact that DAT is not close to 100%, surely I can find something less stressful on the board though than messing with the Ducks (who I love and will be cheering for)
as far as me being solid, thanks
I was record breaking good in my early years here (for me anyhow) but got lazy and cocky (a bad combo), after several years of mediocrity I decided to get back to the basics and not over think things, I've watched more football than ever this year and if I don't see something I like then I just look for halftime money, I haven't forced plays so far this year and the results have been solid, I think I have a good handle on most teams and hopefully I can get some momentum back after a poor week, as you know, this isn't easy regardless of how much information you have, I'm always learning something every year
I've accepted the fact that I will most likely always bet on sports so I may as well give it my best effort, losing is never fun, luckily in my sloppy years I've broke even or came out just ahead, the good years have been good and I'm both fortunate and thankful for that
keep up the good work ICE
