I havent read or heard 1 person like Wyoming. Line keeps going up. People betting on Illinois based off the perception Wyoming is gonna be trash. Maybe they will be.....but how good is Illinois? Last year they scored over 24 points 2 times......they scored 14 or under 5 times....I'll take Bohl over Bielema any day. Linemakers made this total 44, which means they expect this to be ugly....and I agree. If Illinois puts the smack down so be it.....but how many times in the history of Illinois football have the illini been expected to win....and win by 2 tds? They already have a conference lookahead and a short week facing Indiana on the road next Friday. Looks like a 20-17 type game to me, but wouldn't be shocked to see Illinois win 31-10 either......or a Wyoming 24-14 win.... Just a normal play, nothing crazy. I've been wrong before.
eye to eye on this one

I think your Wyoming selection is purely a contrarian pick…not really based on the matchup. The line is going up because both sharps and the public are bidding it up. And though BB is a slob and has his issues, I would not take Bohls over BB. WYO will trot out a former 2 star qb who completed about half his passes in a backup role at Utah State. Devito is nothing special, but he was a 4 star recruit, and at least has starting experience at cuse and seems hungry. This is a must win game for Illinois to have any chance at a bowl. Re-Tread coaches like BB at downtrodden programs like Illinois don’t have the luxury of worrying about its look ahead Big 10 opener a short week. It must defeat the team it is playing for the now, because a win is a win and progress, especially if the perception is that they should handily defeat a WYO team that was gutted by the transfer portal. Others that were gutted include Hawaii and Georgia Tech. I will be fading those as well in week 0 and week 1 respectively. I think Illinois puts up 28 plus in this matchup and holds WYO to 10 or fewer and Illinois wins and covers. Good luck on your other picks and have a great season!

Very true - spread up to 14 - Illinois has no explosiveness and very weak receivers. No chance I would give 14 with them - that is a game if Wyoming gets up 7-0 would feel impossible if u had Illinois. Great pt on short week and conf game coming up. I originally looked to take Wyoming cause I think Bohl is a good coach but will lay off. I wish you luck and hope you win your bet.

Its only contrarian because nobody is on Wyoming due to everyone knowing "they were gutted". Vegas knows this. Hell, Wyoming knows this. Nobody is basing their Illinois bet in the matchup either, because they have no idea what they are going to get out of Wyoming, but assume Devito and Illinois will be solid at home. I'll believe it when I see it, and will tip my cap to Beilema and crew.....
