Thanks for the Kent State pick man, I'm tailing your teaser. I added LSU -14 to it though. Couldn't resist. I have a hard time going against Boise (and coach Petersen) at home, but I like BYU +14.5. I think Boise finds a way to win, but am expecting a good game.

Based on what has transpired with Arkansas the past two weeks, we are getting a bargain basement price on the them this week.  Think about it, if Tyler Wilson doesn't get hurt in the ULM game, the Razorbacks win that game easily.  They still would have gotten smashed last week by Alabama, but that's not effecting public perception as much as the home loss to ULM.

This will be Arkansas' 4th consecutive home game versus Rutgers who is making back-to-back road trips, and long ones at that.  They cross a time zone on this trip although I don't that in and of itself is a big deal.  The point is that you have a team (Arkansas) that gets to stay in the home routine they've been in all season versus their opponent who has been doing nothing but traveling for the last two weeks.  Read nropp's excellent Week 4 post where he discusses routine in more detail.

Everything sets up perfectly for a Razorbacks' win and cover here.  They are a very talented and highly touted team that had extremely high expectations coming into the season coming off of back-to-back home losses.  In other words, this is an absolute MUST WIN game for Arkansas.  That can't be stressed enough.

Conversely, Rutgers is coming off of a huge conference road win where they were 7 point underdogs.  In the grand scheme of things, this game really doesn't mean much for Rutgers.

Play the more talented and far more motivated SEC team playing at home against a Big East team high off of an upset win over a conference foe.

Razorbacks all day every day in this one!!!

Why is no one is considering Boise/BYU Over at 49?

In the blue turff i think Boise is gonna gonna score close to 27 points.
Considering all the smart money is on BYU +6.5, over 49 seems like a good play.

I know this way of thinking might be a little dumb but What you think?

Why is the Bama total so high. I see 57 from my local. I know they can very well crush this number themselves, but doesn't Vegas know Saban will most definitely call off the dogs second half?

I agree with Train I would play it UNDER 66.  Florida Atlantic probably won't score.  If they do they won't exceed 7, and Alabama probably doesn't get to 59.  So of all the options in that game I agree that UNDER 66 is the way to go.

I honestly don't know what to make of this game because I have not had an occasion to watch Arizona State at all this season, and have not played on or against them this season, so I haven't capped them real carefully.

What I find interesting about the Sun Devils is that they will be facing their third consecutive backup QB in as many weeks.

With Utah hitting the road with essentially a backup QB coming off of an emotional win in a huge rivalry game, I would instinctively lead toward Arizona State.

Nice Call on Kent St ML Freak.. I was so wrong about Ole Miss last Saturday, lost all of my money i made on Under Bama and your Western Kent plays last week. Looking forward to your solid plays this coming week.

Not crazy about teasers in college football either.  I rarely do it, but this teaser fit like a glove.  Was able to tease two games to 14.5 and another to 11.  It doesn't get any cleaner than that.

Yeah, they look really stout, but I expected them to.  Your Bears looked good last week.  Cost me a little  in the process.  I really didn't appreciate that!!! 

What are your thoughts about the USC match-up this week???  Guess I need to wade through all the "Winnazzzzzz" threads to find yours!!!

Possibly.  I'm waiting for confirmation on Tyler Wilson's status.  Hopefully a decision will be made tomorrow.

I think this game will look very much like the BYU/Utah game, which is to say a physical defensive battle.  I wouldn't expect a high scoring affair.  I know overs are more fun to play, but I lean under.

I don't like the total at all but I, like you, lean to the under.  That wouldn't be a terrible play.

I'm probably going to play Alabama (1st Half).

Sorry to hear that.  I was thinking of you as I was watching the game.  You have to give Ole Miss credit for scoring 31 points.  I would have thought that would have been good enough to cover.  I really don't have a great read for Ole Miss just yet other than apparently they have zero defense.  Not really shocking news.

Hopefully we can have another profitable weekend!!!

I really don't see any of those teams losing.  I would say the most likely of those would be Wisconsin just because they aren't very good.
