Just watch how lucky they get and the way things plays out. A+M will beat LSU tonight or LSU will get blown out by UGA and Notre Dame will beat USC or USC will lose in the PAC 12 championship.

@datboi86
He said LSU will lose again and so will USC, what are you smoking if you think 3 loss LSU or non conference champ 2 loss get in ahead of Bama?

Agreed...
They just are not as good as the other teams ahead of them..
Bout time..
I'm sick of ROLLTIDE every year...My stepmother did her medical internship there at Bama even though she's Canadian and ITS ALL WE EVER HEAR ABOUT...LOL
It's nice seeing them get kicked in the face and I hope they keep on getting kicked when they're down..
Bama will not win another title in Saban's tenure..
It's over Nick...
Retire with grace...

This is the most generic, out of touch thing I keep hearing from 'sports' fans. "They" are gonna put Bama in. Not surprised buffer is here spouting it now

Zero chance Bama gets in....They are struggling with a bad Auburn team...Getting run over on D...U want to make a statement to get in and u struggling with Auburn....This is like a loss for Bama...U needed to win by 40...

Bama is in if these 3 things happen
TCU loses in Big 12 championship game
A one loss non champion TCU is Not going
USC loses just 1 of last 2 games
LSU loses to Georgia
If u ask me what we are going to have is TCU playing next week. If they win, they are in, if they lose Bama is in.
It's a lock that Michigan and Ohio St are in.
Alabama may not deserve it but you will run out of team's that do deserve it.
Honestly they could stop the season right here and have Georgia play Michigan for the title.
It's now about 50/50 that Bama gets in.

agree! LSU losing tonight eliminates them plus anyways they’re not beating UGA in Atlanta. If TCU loses then Bama in for sure and especially if USC loses to utah

Bama is still one of the top 4 teams in the nation when the game is played on a neutral field. There is no doubt about it!

It doesn't matter if Bama is one of the top 4 team on a neutral field...Bama has 2 losses...and did not win their division let alone their conference...If Michigan or TCU loses...in the ship game..how do you leave them out and put Bama in when Bama has 2 losses and did not have to play in the SEC ship game...No matter what barring crazy blowout losses by TCU or Michigan....they are automatic above Bama...Zero chance Bama can jump them...U do not get penalized for playing in conference ship game over another team that did NOT like Bama...

Also now that LSU has lost...and if Georgia beat LSU..Bama rating will go down as LSU will have 4 losses on the season...Resume wise..not looking good for Bama

Tcu schedule is weak so if they lose to Kstate their out no doubt about it! If Utah beats USC then USC will be out.

@MITM
I don't think its a lock that Ohio state gets in. Had this been a close game, then possibly. But they got mashed in their own backyard and speaking of strength of schedule, Ohio State has played a trash schedule. TCU has played a much tougher schedule and is the first Big 12 team to go undefeated in quite some time. I would argue that TCU gets in as a one-loss team over Ohio state.....
Not to mention, USC and TCU would be a dream scenario for the CFP. Every major conference would be represented with Georgia, TCU, Michigan, and USC.

This is false on so many levels and I'm not a Bama homer. Real world, play it out on the field.....Alabama is the second best team if you include them in those teams you listed. Ohio St. couldn't run on Michigan without Henderson. Gibbs or Gibbons is world's better than him and Young is playing world's better than Stroud right now. TCU is a fine team but that's against Big 12 defenses. SEC defenses are a whole other animal. We have different interpretations of struggling if you think they'd struggling against Auburn.

3 teams are a lock, Georgia, Michigan and TCU no matter what happens the 4th spot is the wild card obviously, I think USC will be in
Glad that Clemson is out of the talk, I dont really see how Bama gets in to be honest I have looked at all the scenarios just doesnt make sense

No way that McCarthy kid will pull that chit against a decent defense.....running or throwing. They never should have let those Ohio St. safeties and corners in the locker room after the game. They were that bad, though the Buckeyes defense has been suspect for a long time. USC has no defense and TCU has never faced a real one. And you're actually saying those teams are better soup to nuts than a very solid top to bottom Bama team?? Ridiculous. With Hooker hurt Bama is easily the second or third best team. And we all know what's gonna happen. At the end of the day the SEC team or teams are gonna boat race all takers. One simply cannot quantify how much additional internal fortitude is required to face SEC defenses week after week...which would get me ranting on the non-conference teams Michigan chooses to play.

Most Likely scenario...Georgia, Michigan, TCU, USC...however...
Caveats...
If TCU beats KSU, and wins the Big 12 C-Game, TCU is in...as an undefeated conference champion...If USC beats Utah in the PAC 12 C-Game, USC is in...Along with Michigan and Gerogia... If TCU loses to KSU in Big 12 C GAME, then Ohio State will get in with one loss...In that scenario, it will be Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, with one slot left...then if Utah beats USC, Alabama will be in...So that's my take...The only way Alabama gets in is if both TCU and USC loses...Even though Ohio State did not look good against Michigan in the 2nd half, the committee will look at its complete body of work...The only other caveat to my hypothesis...If KSU upsets TCU by say less than 3 in a close tight game...Then the committee will evaluate a 1 loss TCU (late season C-Game loss) versus a two losses Alabama...That's the only possible wild card that I see...

@LonghornHoosier
Sounds about right
I have one question all those who are down on Bama comparative to the aforementioned prospective playoff teams
Would Bama not be favored against anyone left on a neutral except Georgia? Money talks and I'd bet my entire roll that if it was their mortgage on the line they would not take TCU or USC or Michigan on the moneyline in that game.

You guys are making it difficult, it's easy. TCU and the USC will lose on Saturday. That means Ohio State will be #3 an Alabama #4. So that means #1Georgia versus #4 Alabama and #4 Ohio State versus #2Michigan. It's that simple. TCU ain't beating K-State, and Utah will beat USC. It's that simple
