That is 4 straight titles. I'm more into lines than the "Ra-Ra" stuff but since its been put out there why not respond.
Any team can win one game, but there is no place where football matters more than in the SEC.

If your aunt had nuts, she would be your uncle.
I don't understand how anyone with football sense can look at the conferences top to bottom and allow their inferiority complex to take over. C'mon man.

no ones saying anything about prior years sec redneck. you dont think that you are fortunate when in your 2 biggest bowl games this year the best coach in the country leaves his team high and dry, and in the other the winningest college qb ever gets knocked out on the first series? sounds pretty LUCKY to me.

The Sec is the most dominant conf of the choices. Yes in total the conf was down this year but on the other hand another National Championship with if not for Bama beating Florida. It would be Florida taking the trophy. Guys don't be fooled by McCoy not playing,it's because he got knocked out of the game SEC Defense. Gilbert came in and had some moments but Bama did let up that's if you were watching you would have known that.
AS far as the rest of the SEC.
ARK: should of lost
AUB : up 14 twice in the game
Ole Miss: tight game could of went either way But SEC Defense put them ahead
FL: dominated Cinn
Tenn: got drug up and down the field
LSU: another close one at the end
Geo: dominated
Bama: Champs what else is their to say
SO Car: got drug just like Tenn
ALL in all still the toughest Conf

4 str8 and I have no problem with Fla, LSU, and Bama. They were the best teams those years. All major conferences as a whole, are more similiar though.
Last year, Fla, OU, and TX were the best teams last year.. Fla was the best team and (other than Ole Miss) STEAM ROLLED the SEC teams (look up those scores, wow).
This year Bama, Fla, and TX were tops... The rest of the SEC wasn't anything special, and showed worse than others.
No matter what, you don't want to go play at: Fla, Bama, Geo, LSU, Tenn..... Neb, OU, TX, TA&M, CU, ... Ohio St, Mich, PenSt.. USC, ORE, Wash, UCLA .. FlaSt, MiaFl, VT, ... Even when these teams you don't feel a cake-walk coming.
And sure, the OkieState, TTech (w/out Leach won't be the same), AUB, Arky, Mizz, Iowa, Wisky, ASU, Cal, NCst, SCar, Ole Miss, KanSt, Purdue, MichSt, .... these teams will all cycle good teams and compete, and they'll all have 'their' years... But many of these teams good years, are bad years for the teams listed first.
So in lieu, Congrats to Bama... and most conferences overall are more similiar then most think

6-0 in title games and something like 15-3 in BCS bowl games - better than any conference in both categories. Enough said. Congrats BAMA fans and backers.

Pretty impressive now that they have strung 4 in a row together. But on a whole the lesser teams of the conference did not fair as well ATS this bowl season.

I will prove that the SEC isn't that good, then I will prove it's the best.
Let's take a look at the 120 teams. Who got into the top 25%. For those of you south of the education line, that's the top 30 teams.
The SEC only had 4 of 12 teams in the top 30. That's just 33.3%
MWC 3 of 9 = 33.3%
ACC 4 of 12 = 33.3%
Big 10 4 of 11 = 36.3%
BEC 3 of 8 = 37.5%
Pac 10 4 of 10 = 40.0%
Big 12 5 of 12 = 41.6%
There is your proof that the SEC ain't so hot.
