why is Ga Tech line moving south?

Can't get a grip on this.  Line starts at 13.5, down now to 11.5.  Public supposedly on Tech 8-2.  Don't see ant injury or trend issues of concern.  Unless there's huge money on Vandy by someone, this does not compute.  Any ideas?

I think the line will go back up close to 14 on Saturday.
If Vandy couldn't handle Army's rushing attack, they should get buried this week.

dont look to much into it. i expect the line will move back up to 13 before kickoff. in my opinion you either play gatech or dont play the game.  same situation in cincy syracuse. play cincy or dont play it at all.

The weather is raining from now until Sunday in Nashville should slow down the spread option.

I'm on GT just letting you know one of the reasons the line might be moving.

GT played UVA in downpour last week; that held Jackets to only 34 points ???

there was an annoucement that freshman LB Julian Burnett is questionable for game... but that is really not big news ?

It's a flat spot for GT coming off 2 huge conference games VT and UVA (UVA was leading the ACC-Coastal heading into the GT/UVA game, and GT had not won at UVA in 16 years).  Vandy has already played one option team this year (Army), and the Vandy defense has only given up more than 23 points once this year.  That said, anyone taking Vandy will need the GT offense to put the ball on the ground at least twice to have chance.

I see momentum on the Tech side, and I presume Johnson to be a focused enough leader not to allow a letdown.  I've followed his career for awhile (since Ga. Southern and the Academy), and he's the real deal.  I went against him recently w/ Va. Tech... lesson learned.

fairly new to this site, but i have been around at other sites and i like what i see at this place...i use the same name at another place and some might know me from playing basesball at another forum...i am about as honest of a person as you will find...i fudge nothing...i do have a friend that is a coach on the vandy staff and i do see vandy play 1-2 times a year which isn't bad being from central pa...this is not what the staff or the players expected this year coming off a bowl win...but this team has been depleted by injury...this is a true statement they are down 16 scholarship athletes since opening day 14 due to injury, 1 due to academics, and i kicked off the teams 2 weeks ago for fighting in downtown nashville...the one thing vandy can not recover from like other teams in the sec is the lack of depth...when they have an injury free year like last year they can compete with anyone, when they have years like this year they lose to army...of course they are capable of pulling an upset here and there (esp against s.carolina) but all in all they are not worth backing this year...as far as being at home this is not much of a home field advantage, as they struggle year in and year out to get people in the stands...the defense has done a good job this year holding up to the pressure of an offense that simply can not score but if it was ever gonna break down i believe this would be the week...simply put vandy can not score and sooner or later i expect the defense to fold, probably this week...i have to be careful of what i say on a chat forum but i would not be backing vandy anytime soon other then maybe against tenn...good luck guys!!!!
