LSU is overrated trash and every ranked team they have beat fits that description.

btw boise would whack LSU BADLY even in baton rouge....go look at who they have beaten and realize how overrated they are

Look what Bama defense has done on every game after the first drive by the opposing team.  They have locked them down and rarely crossed the 50 after that.  Not saying Alabama will win this game but their defense is on another level and have Richardson and Lacy to take the load off McCarron and Richardson is a man possessed right now

Be careful there as Ten ran pretty good on them 1H after they totaled 29 prev 2 wks.

Bama is legitimately better at every position other than defensive line, which is probably a wash. Maybe WR, as well.

And please don't tell me the LSU secondary is superior to that of Bama. Tyrann Mathieu cannot hold a candle to Menzie and Kirpatrick.

I view Bama as 5-7 points better than LSU on a neutral field. Tack on 3 for home field, and I'll take Bama -6 all day long.

Look I could care less about either team but to say Mathieu who as a true sophmore is putting up UNBREAKABLE numbers with Morris Claiborne on the side is ridiculous to say they don't hold a candle. Not sure if you watched LSU last game when Claiborne int and took it back. Mathieu has 9 forced fumbles in 19 games; that is tied for anyone EVER in college football in over 45 games. Kirkpatrick is really good and not sure about Menzie. The game is AT BAMA and has Trent Richardson who some are comparing to Walter Payton not me considering Payton was top 2. The line on a neutral field is 2.5 Bama. LSU has equal talent no doubt about it though.

Bama is -6 because they are a better football team. I am an LSU homer and can't wait to bet this game- i will be all over Alabama-

Bama's pressure will confuse the hell out of Jarret Lee and he will give up at least two turnovers. LSU will be one dimensional against Alabama and that will be the end of it-

JFen- now those guys are good but even you know that saying Matthieu won't hold a candle to those guys is a bit of a stretch

Because Les Miles' luck can only last so long.  Also, Bama is the best team in the country and has the best coach - they win by 10+ come November 5.  Richardson caps off his Heisman campaign and Les will be left looking clueless on the sidelines (did anyone notice him against Tennessee looking clueless when they got a delay of game early on?).

Because they both play the same style of ball, except Bama is much better and physical at it this year. LSU is two one dimensional and won't run the ball too well against Bama and Lee will literally do nothing. Bama will be able to run the ball better and has more balance in the passing game. It is like when the Big 10 teams pound teams that don't match up with them all year, they can be one dimensional on offense and play off their defense. Until they meet a team that is as big and more physical than them, they are forced to open up the playbook to win and they have a rough time doing it. Bama is just better than LSU from what I have seen so far.
