It seems Auburn has much better wins and is a better team right now than Ohio State. What do you guys think? I understand Auburn had a loss. But so did Florida and they won a championship with one loss. Auburn is a better team than OSU. Who has OSU beaten? No one.

Sagarin had them 16th prior to this weekend. will be interesting to see. he had OSU ranked 6th behind FSU, Bama, Oregon, Wisky, Baylor. sagarin rank not going to help in bcs rankings.

Auburn should be above Ohio State. They would be favored by 6 or 7 on a neutral field. Ohio State would not be favored over anyone in the top 10 except Clemson and they lost today.

Strength of schedule only seems to matter so the standings can be manipulated to put the two teams they won't up there. You can't say Ohio State's schedule is better than Auburn's

This year's Auburn squad may be the luckiest in the history of CFB. How on earth can you believe they belong in the title game or would beat Team X? Saying they are a team of destiny is not an answer.

It doesn't matter whether they are ready, they will likely get their shot since MSU won't score enough to beat them.

NFLCA brings up a GOLDEN point. Really reflect on this BCS system. It's f.u.cking terrible. I don't think that is an over exaggeration either to tell you the truth. I can't stress how good it would have been for college football to have the Playoff Format take place this year. Auburn JUST BEAT A GAUNTLET. A straight juggernaut that was going for a third consecutive ship! They stopped Bama's dynasty for pete's facking sake. It was fluky as it get's, but they got it done miraculously. Jordan-Hair is on that good kush and there's magic in the stadium. IMO, I think that alone with only 1 loss in Death Valley and a W over BAMA vaults you over Ohio State, Oh by the way who happens to nearly LOSE, but that garbage was WILD. I think AU is a little more composed than Ohio State and just to throw in...they would pull a W out against the buckeyes on a neutral field. BUT NOPE/ Buckeyes are undefeated and we got computers who are crunching numbers that says so by .237fuckin6 percentage pooints that one team is better than the other. Also, to sprinkle in even if they get a W at Mich ST and Auburn beats MIzzou in the SEC championship, I still think Auburn deserves the nod and would play FSU(assuming they make it) a whole lot better than the buckeyes. However, if Ohio State does beat MSU and ends up in the NCG against FSU over a 1 loss SEC Champion, doesn't it kind of contradict the argument about the undefeated Boise?Utah teams of the past not getting title shots?
Wasn't the debate about whether they played a tough enough schedule? I don't remember their exact SOS's from those seasons but it seemed to me that they would beat a ranked BCS Conf team, and then run the table in their own conferences and were left out the BCS title game, based on a weak schedule. Shouldn't Ohio State be held to that same standard since their best win will be over a Michigan State team that didn't exactly have that tough of a schedule either?
I understand the money involved and Ohio State's fan base and interest will help their cause over the Boise's and Utah's of the world but they should be held to the same standard as those teams, imo.

Would they have one the game without that absolute pressure or, even more importantly, would they have cared as much about winning and losing?
