I agree with Wahoo. Their strength of schedule is horrible and they might not even be top 10. Buffalo they definitely should've destroyed. Baylor shredded Buffalo this past week. Wasn't even close!

OSU not a top 10 team? Call me a homer but that is laughable... In a couple of weeks I see most of you changing your mind. As this defense gels and if and when Braxton gets healthy, this team will be just fine.

They're a top 10 team, but like Wahoo mentioned....not top 5.
Oregon knows how to play the game, win by 50+ against cupcakes, then grind away at their conference schedule. OSU beats Buffalo by 20 (who lost by 100 to Baylor) and wins 42-7 against SDST (given the second half was borderline unwatchable.
Their D is getting better, but this "up-tempo" offense is nothing but CLAPS! and staring at the sideline til the clock hits 6-7seconds. Yes, it's only been two games....but with all the hype, this team deserves the ranking they get, even if it's out of the top 5.
NOW, if they go to Cal and crush'em by 30, and beat FAMU by 75, then maybe they'll stay where they're at. Oregon, Clemson, Georgia, Bama and Texas AM are all better than the Bucks. It's tough to gauge Stanford after just SJST, but I would bet they would be favored (on neutral site) against OSU.
BCS is all about style points, and sadly OSU isn't interested in them thus far.

Good honest opinion.
I didn't watch the SJSU-Stanford game, because it wasn't on where I was at, but did follow along all night. Stanford seemed to be a grind it out machine. Converted a ton of first downs, didn't turn the ball over, and did enough on D to shut down a decent SJSU team. They'll be Oregon's biggest test again this year (although can't overlook Washington either).
Cal looks sub-par this year, I think OSU will handle them. My gut says they'll get tripped up somewhere in conference.
