domo arigato mr combato, i really enjoy fading your picks when the smug attitude breaks out. Is it really neccessary to call people squares, tailers and what nots? Lets just stick with handicapping the game and just ignore those who you feel are posers, wannabe's and what ever other names you seem to enjoy calling people. You seem to have attracted many tailers yourself.....funny thing is that they FADE your picks.

Finally we get to gameday, man do we need a playoff to keep these teams sharp and have them earn their way in. 44 days since NDs last game, 37 since Alabama's. Lot of wasted time.
Let's put this schedule nonsense in perspective: ND has not faced the tough gauntlet the media would have you believe, let's look at the facts: Navy, who got wiped out by Az State in their bowl and beat no one significant, Purdue, who got wiped out by Ok State in their bowl, USC who not only lost 5 games, but got beat by Ga. Tech, who not opnly beat no one but gave up aver 50 points to Middle TN, Michigan who got wiped out by Alabama in the opener, Mich St, who has zero offense and had to come from behind to beat TCU by a point in the bowl, Pitt who got stomped by Ole Miss in the bowl on Saturday and who only needed a chip shot FG to have eliminated ND, Wake Forest who was not compeitive against anyone in the lowly ACC, and then Stanford, a decent team who, like ND has no offense, lost to ND in overtime thanks to a bad call. Did ND have a good season? Sure, for ND that was excellent but it doesn't make them a top quality football team. They have a top 10 defense and an offense that couldn't move the ball against weak teams, much less a defense the quality of Alabama.
I am not saying Bama will definitely cover because their offense is not that great, but Alabama will win this game so any ML plays on ND is suicide. I think the Tide will cover because the ND offense will not be able to move the ball enough to give their defense any rest. Wearing ND down with the continual pounding, and working with a short field is why Alabama will likely cover and is why you can afford to lay the 9+ points. The Bama OL will open holes for the power RBs and make the play action passes work. I think Alabama wins a game they will control all night, it is a mismatch. We deserve better, a playoff would have weeded ND out, they are just a Big 10 team that sets their own schedule.
Alabama 30 ND 10 5 unit play (Hate to see CFB end!)

I agree with you 100%. That is way a lot of good cappers stopped posting their comments. Right now, there is a lot of trash talk. I hope COVERS could screen comments & bar unnecessary ones.
Lots of luck to all & happy capping.
