miami (ohio) is 0-6 ats in last 6 at home and ball state is playing on a whole different level ..BALL ST   ROLLS ON.. and road team has covered last 5 ats....... enough for me to take ball st big.

i dont like 70% on ball st at all, but i just dont see how its not gonna be another 48-14 blowout...ball st/over huge gl all

Redhawks +17.5             over 54.5
Coming off 2 DD ATS losses in a row has me thinking Miami with 18 seniors and 17 returning starters from last season will give Ball St all they can handle before losing down the streach. Miami with a half point cover.

I'm also liking Ball St on the final. Ball St has not been covering in the 1st half of games ats as well as they do on the final ats.
 
Scary thing for me is that personally I really don't like taking under the total when I am taking a high double digit fav. Hard for me to cheer for the fav to score and not to score a lot at the same time.  I think that made some sense

Bid Daddy could not agree more.  I will playing Ball State, and possibly the 1st half (they were on both last week).  With that, the under maybe mind blowing, Ball State will need to score points, which they will.  I can Miami Ohio messing this up.  Believe I will shy away from the under this week.  Ball State needs another statement game.  Boise St and Utah are still and will be around for the BSC buster.  Ball State will play all out again and make another statement.  Go Cardinals, the Indiana number football team this year.

I no longer like the under...

Just on the early Ball St. spread.  It'll be -20 by game time.

I think the books want you to jump on all those points and take Miami. Did you watch Miami play Buffalo last week? Have you seen Ball State play? Again this game comes down to how many points Miami scores.... Ball State will put up 30+ in the game...probably closer to upper 30's. How many will Miami score? They average 20.5 ppg at home but when the play conference foes at home the are averaging just 15 ppg and allowing more than 41points.
 
Early lean Ball State -19.5 and OVER...but need to look at this a little more.

I think Ball State smells a better ranking. Best not to be in the way tonight...

Ball State is 7-1 against the spread with all but one of there wins being 15+.
 
Miami is 2-7 ATS and have been destroyed in their last two games.
 
Vegas is will to let me have Ball ST at less than three TDs?  Who am I to argue with such a gift (and 70% of the public agrees with me).  After all, Vegas is in the business of keeping us happy.  Hmmmmm, on second thought give me...

I'm glad to see a lot of people on the over due to how they feel about the total and not just riding the Tues night trend. As for me I feel that this one looks like an easy over game as well due to a high scoring Ball St offense vs a very weak Miami OH defense. To include the fact that Ball St might just put up some style points on this Miami OH team to move up higher in the rankings.
 
With that said I cannot see myself biting the hand that has fed me for many seasons although I feel this is going over I'm sticking wtih the under even if this one goes over I'll keep on taking the under. I just gotta pledge my loyalty to the undergods

Still trying to gather myself to pull the trigger and take Ball St on the final. I know Ball St can put up a lot of points on the board esp on this Miami OH defense that could not stop a team that was simply trying to run out the clock with simple run dive plays, which got the back door cover on the over last week Tues.

Tell me why this line only opened at 15- after what Ball St. did to Northern last week and how Miami SUCKED against Buf.
 
Miami sucks wether they are at home or not, tonight they go with the junior quarterback Raudabaugh because Belton is hurt, Raudabaugh has 1252 yards with 4 td's and 5 picks, he started the first 6 games of the season for Miaimi going 1-5 with the only win coming against some no lined scab team. 
L 34-13 to Vandy
L 16-6 @ Mich. (who completely sucked at begining of year)
W 38-27 to Charleston Southern (no line game)
L 45-20 @ Cincy
L28-10 to Temple
L 17-13 @ Northern
 
The guy put up more than 13 points twice and one of those was to Charleston Southern.
I'll bet the number is between 21- and 24 by kickoff with my local.
Is this one of those "If it looks to good to be true, then it probably is" games???
 
I don't know how the hell I can't take Ball St. after watching that game against Northern last week.

Well, it looks like we might be on the opposite of both sides tonight. I was just thinking how Miami went into Muncie, Indiana and beat Ball State last year. Ball State has dominated the Mac this year and there is no reason to think they are going to put it on hold tonight. With that revenge factor and how well this team is playing I am taking Ball State. No more waiting for the line movement...weather or other factors that deter me from making my solid play. Nate Davis, MiQuale Lewis, Broggs Osborne, Louis Johnson, and the BIG TE Dairus Hill will be too much for Miami. Throw all that on top of the fact the Miami struggles to score and you got your cover.  No play on O/U yet but still leaning on over. 41 -17 sounds really good to me.

this is exactly what i thought at first but it's not the same thing for obvious reasons:

miami home and sf was away 1
the line is soaring toward miami and sf line stayed the same 2

but it has the same feeling to it I have to admit. 

doesn't it usually mean that because vegas is giving more points to the dog that you go with vegas and take the favorite?  or is that another attempt of a trap.  does vegas have trends in setting lines?  I believe in the short term memory theory in vegas which would indicate that they want you to think about taking this dog to follow up last nights dog but... i'm confused.
