Cincy held WVU to less than a 100 yds rushing which is quite impressive but not too sure if it is as impressive as it would have been a year or so ago. WVU is not the same offense as it was a year ago, the offensive schemes, play calling, players, etc is totally different from what coach Rich Rodriquez had for a number of seasons to what WVU is doing this season. It is still impressive for a defense to hold any team to less than a 100 yds rushing so I still gotta give props to Cincy for that.
If you are going to use the Cincy/WVU game as part of your capping for this one- Cincy is 0-5 ats the following game after allowing less than a 100 yds rushing.
Louisville- The Cards were my favorite money maker in the 1st half of games for a many number of seasons esp playing at home. They killed me last season and after getting smacked the first few games I layed off them the entire 2007 season. This 2008 season has been inconsistant for them as well and I have not followed or wagered on them as frequently as I did in the past.
Louisville's defense does not match up well against Cincy's offense. Although the Cards defense is very tough against the run Cincy is a passing team and might exploit the weakness in the Cards defense which is defending against the pass and if they do it will be a very long day for Louisville.
With all that said this game pretty much favors Cincy but the degenerate in me is telling me to give Louisville another chance in the 1st half for this one for some reason. Maybe because Louisville tends to start off strong on weekday televised games 
Still not sure but might just go with Louisville in the 1st half but I'll wait.
