why is it worth it???  i think buying points (other than the hook) is for chumps...

I like Clemson to cover. Here's why: 1. Tech's QB was completing approximately 60 percent of his passes early in the season. For the past three games, his completion percentage has been in the 30s, and Tech hasn't covered any of those games. There's no reason to think he'll suddenly start completing 60 percent again. 2. Tech has looked really terrible in their two consecutive losses, scoring a combined 28 points for the two games. Yes, those games were on the road, but beating Maryland by 5 and UNC by 7 at home isn't exactly impressive. Tech would need to be on top of their game offensively to try to play "keep away" from Clemson by controlling time of possession. 3. I don't see many scenarios for this game that favor GA Tech. Even if they went ahead by a couple of touchdowns, Clemson has quick strike capabilities that can get them back into the game. If Clemson gets ahead, Tech's option attack won't be able to catch up or keep up. 4. I just got off the phone with a friend of mine who went to Tech, and he says that Clemson is a rival, but this game doesn't have near the importance that the Georgia game does. 5. Clemson's numbers on both sides of the ball are good. They're balanced on offense. They have some serious momentum going, and they have covered every game except against Wofford.

except GA Tech has a Div 3 defense and a one dimensional offense. Fishy line so probably staying away. But GA Tech really sucks

Have to agree with the majority here, bet Clemson, and bet them hard.  I have also had Clemson let me down at strange times in past years, but it won't happen in this game, with their offensive explosiveness, against a bad defense.  I think Clemson goes down this year, but it won't be this week.  Seems like GT's offense has run it's course with teams they play regularly and have seen the option before.  They beat the weak OOC teams and struggle/lose to conference schools and UGA.

The Yellow Jackets are in a bit of a funk and with the Tigers coming to town. It should be a raucous crowd in Atlanta, but the play of Boyd and company should neutralize the hometown advantage in this one.

I agree about the line movement. Looks like the number is now down to 3. I assume this means Vegas views this as a pick on a neutral field??
