ugly game to say the least.. UConn's defense or Syracuse's offense.. Syracuse puts up impressive numbers to say the least, but they turn the ball over left and right.. the Carrier Dome is a big help to the Orange, but will it be enough to cover the number.. typically don't trust young QBs on the road like UConn has, especially with no running game to lean on.. if Syracuse loads the box, can he move the chains with his arm..

this honestly could go either way, but i'm kinda in catchup mode this week for the first time in a while. will most likely play small in this one to chip away at my negative balance..

I was at the last SU game at the Dome.  It was against Pitt, and was also on a Friday night.  The place doesn't fill up like it does on a Saturday and wasn't as loud as it could be.  Regardless, it's 10x louder than any crowd in UConn's history. 

SU plays better than average defense.  They rush the passer and stuff the run.  The secondary and linebackers do have issues making open field tackles. 

Their offense can move the ball, but keeps finding ways to shoot themselves in the foot.  They don't have a running back that can break a run longer than fifteen yards, and the wide recievers drop way too many catchable balls.  Still, this matchup favors SU.   UConn is down this year, and usually they are a scrappy underdog, but SU has to win a game against a DI opponent by more than a field goal this year, and this is the game.  They do just enough to win and cover.  SU 20   UConn14

Hmmmmm.......I'm analyzing everything and it strikes me!....I'm wasting my time.....what has either of these teams done to earn my endorsment!!!....ugh!......nothing at all!......two wack teams on way to a wack season!!....this game will go back and forth with fumbles, interceptions, missed field-goals, generally bad foot-ball!.......The under may be the way to go but it's kinda low for a college game......I have a feeling this one is going to be a hell a boring game!.......again....i'm leaning towards the under for a tiny play but no true strong play...... good luck to all!!!

Only problem with UCONN. is where they gonna get the Offense??Got to go with the home team here.Syracuse got a much better offense vs great defensive unit in UCONN.Being at home should make the difference in a very close game.  The Orangemen -4.5
