Illinois has a defense, Baylor does not.
Everyone is on Baylor and its only one and hasnt moved.

Baylor is a growing program with a dynamic QB......Illinois has a dead man walking coach and is too unpredictable.  One game, pretty good, one game.....awful.  I'll take Baylor to continue to grow and get a jump on recruiting with a good showing.  I won't be hanging my money on any Big 10 teams.......N"western, Illinois, Iowa and OSU are all in trouble.  MSU may be the only team I consider.....only because of the wide margin of chalk.  I also like the under here.

  Illinois has trouble stopping the pass and Baylor has problems stopping the run... but since I'm going to this game I've got to pick something... so... Both Small Plays.... Baylor and the Over

Almost a home game for Baylor, but their D is pretty bad. But their O is as good as their D is bad.

Over 63 seems like the way to go.

Daaaaaaa Bares. Ill is doo doo this year. Very down. Baylor shows some promise so I say maybe they show up and post some points. Key is if Ill can muster the O that Baylor can't contain. Baylor is this pick.

Battles with high powered offenses don't go well with Baylor, and battles of high powered offenses usually go to the ones who create turnovers. Leshoure has never fumbled(fingers crossed) and Scheelhaase has thrown 1 pick in 6 games.  Illinois has caused 12 TOs the past 5 games and committed 4: Baylor causing 8 and committing 10. Illinois is ranked statistically equal or better to 3/5 teams Baylor played in terms of Defense...not to mention that Illinois won't be surprised by Baylor's attack because they've experienced Pryor and Robinson(7 TOs caused by Illinois during those games)

Scheelhaase has 15 Tds and 1 pick in the past 6 games and Leshoure has averaged 8.75 yards/carry the past 3 games. This Baylor defense which is already used to giving up mass amounts of points (See: A&M, OU, OSU, KSU) will invite Illinois to have a field day tomorrow.

Illinois +1 to the bank. As far as O/U goes, I want to say Over in a land slide, but I'm staying away from this because a lot of these bowl games are starting very very slow.

Illinois always finds a way to disappoint. Bears eat Zook's inards and save him from coaching somewhere that I care about.

DOn't be fooled Illinois' defense was a tale of two halves.  Second half they were bordering on east carolina status.  Baylor lost its last three...to Oklahoma, Tex A&M, and Oklahoma State( who will pound Arizona today).  Baylor with so much to play for in a home game in Texas.  COnfused by this line.  Baylor LARGE.  OVER

Strong lean on Illinois here.  Still thinking but I do think they have a stronger team.  Had a real solid middle of the season when they beat Indiana, Purdue and Penn St convincingly, all wrapped around a loss to a very goo Mich St unit.  Both teams ended the season on a weak note but Baylor's end was even weaker, three big losses.  They have no run defense and Ill will run all over them.

The over might be an even better play.  Even Ill coach Ron Zook said: "Probably going to be a lot of points thrown up on the board."

Over 63 + Illinois.
