Ohio State at Wisconsin (10/16/2010)

What do you know about Vegas and lines? This line opened up at 6 at most places and has dropped to 3.5 - 4. Now, you tell me, where the money is being spent? The Wisconsin backers have moved this line and the sharps probably got on this right when it opened at 6. If you're a Wisconsin backer you're too late, you should have jumped on this when it was between 4.5 and 6. Now, if you want to take the Buckeyes you can either wait till its get to 3 or but it down a half point.

IMO the Badgers have not even come close to playing a DEF like Ohio State.  It would surprise me if Wisconsin puts up more than 17 points. Now, I ask myself, can the Badgers hold the Buckeyes to 16 or less? Not a chance. Bucks win this game 27-17. Small play on the UNDER as well.

Buckeyes -3.5

    OSU continues winning ways! No letup here! they're now # 1 !

CFN sucks at picking winners and their analysis rarely ever follows the logic of their team breakdowns.  They pick a ton favorites and big names to continuously roll in any spot.  And often predict scores of close games at one point over the line even if it's an obscure, rare team total of something like 19.

In the unlikely case you see them call for an upset...beware.

As for this game IMO, ugly close game but the Ohio St. defense is too much in comparison and a TD win looks right.  OSU may be overrated, but I guarantee you Wisconsin is.      

Ohio State fan here.  This is supposed to be THE year for Ohio State and this game will come down to one thing, Terrelle Pryor.  Ohio State matches up well to Wisky all over the field.  Our defense is nasty, even without Moeller.  This is Pryor's game to win or lose, he needs to play better than he did against Illinois.

Obviously, I think he will rise to the occasion.   BOL

i love how you fools look at the stats of prior games and try to use that to bet on future games. if you dont watch the game and also see the condistions it was played in than you really cant use that methodology....... OSU played Illinios in 28 MPH winds!!!!!!! has anyone tried to walk ini 28 MPH winds???????????? it will blow you over if your not ready for it...... it was pretty obvious by watching that game that tressle was going to use his ground game and superior atheletes to win the game conservatively instead of risking a bad throw into the wind gusts. And they still won by double digits. this game will be no different, the only exception with be that OSU will be able to open up the passing game against a suspect at best secondary.

Secondly, Pryor got injured in illinios, and again Tresse wanted to just get out with a win instead of risking his franchise QB. This game has OSU winning by at least 10 but could get ugly

Wisky is traditionally one of the toughest places for a road team to win. The Badgers are always mopping teams up with a bruising rushing attack and solid defense. But we have ample reason to believe that the Badgers are a bit overrated this year.. Here are the facts to prove it. First off, the Badgers signature win at home this year was less than stellar, a 20-19 squeaker over Arizona St three weeks ago. Not to mention an embarrassing 27-14 victory over San Jose St at Camp Randall in the season opener. The Badgers were a 38.5 point chalk in that game. Odds makers pinned Wisconsin as a 21.5 point home fav last week, against a 1-4 Minnesota team that gave them a decent fight. Wisky ended up beating Minny 41-23 last week but failed to cover. Again, NOT IMPRESSED.  

The Buckeyes come into this Big 10 showdown as the top ranked team in the country. Terrell Pryor is in his third year under coach Jim Tressell and after some growing pains, you knew that OSU would make sure they got the most out of their QB who was much maligned in his first 2 years.  Meet Terrell Pryor, pocket passer. Thanks to a reported bruised thigh, Ohio State's quarterback did not have a rushing attempt during the Buckeyes' 38-10 bludgeoning of Indiana last Saturday. With the bad wheel, Pryor attempted 30 passes and completed 24 of them for 334 yards and three touchdowns, showing that opponents can force him to pass at their own peril.

Ohio State coach Jim Tressel said Pryor's leg will be fine by this weekend, meaning we should see some long gallops mixed in with the passes that have Pryor ranked sixth nationally in passing efficiency. Wisconsin defensive coaches admitted this week that they focused on trying to make Pryor throw the past two seasons, but will have to rethink that strategy this year. Let’s take the same approach that we took with Utah last week when they demolished ISU 68-27. This week it applies to Ohio St.

S.O.B’s pre game speech to OSU: “You guys are now the #1 team in the Nation, you and your annoying fans have lobbied for this moment for a long time. Now go show us what you are all about and get the job done! If not, get out of the BCS discussion and get the F out of my life.

THE PLAY: Ohio St. -4

I could not agree more here.  You hit it right on the head here.  Scott Tolzien is an absolute garbage quarterback.  Throws hard, misses his targets constantly.  The Wisky wideouts are an overrated bunch as well.  John Clay runs like a champion for 2 yards and then his brain shuts off and his legs stop and his body just slams to the turf for a 2 yard gain.  HE IS OVERRATED.  They have been testing out the other RB more #20 who is fast laterally but the linebackers for OHIO ST will move just as fast to stop the exterior.  CLAY will get 30 yars rushing at best.  He SUCKS.

If I'm going to gamble my money away I vowed to never put it on Brett Bieliema again after last Saturday's strange events.  The ****ing guy ran the ball maybe twice in the 2nd quarter of a rivalry game allowing Minnesota to come within 5 points at half.  Granted it was a 21.5 spread and they played well enough to win, but it just shows you how horribly overrated Wisconsin is against the spread and how Bilema's (**** spelling his name correctly) knack for not covering a game the past three seasons leans towards me putting coin on TRESSEL.

If you painfully read this far you note that Terrell Pryor's name hasn't even come up yet, but boy oh boy you turn on dat der ESPN and listen to dat der radio and man oh man you swear Wisconsin has won the game already, and how Wisky owns Pryor. 

CAMP RANDALL IS AN OVERRATED HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE. It's a loud student section for 3 quarters and a bunch of rich boring Sconnies everywhere else.  College football's version of Wrigley Field my opinion.

OHIO ST -4.0 IS THE PLAY FOR CHRIST'S SAKE

dude....SONOFABARBER said it better than me!  I bought a PJ HILL jersey outside Camp Randall before the game last week.  that had to have been why they didn't cover!!!!
