don't live in that region, so i don't know how much the scandal is affecting the current team... doesn't seem like it should, since no current players seem to be under investigation, but who knows?
what i do know is that Okie St comes in off of a bye, and if they have been able to focus on this game, should be able to blowout W Va... only hesitation is that W Va has been so up and down... this would seem to be a week for them to be up...

UTSA reaked of cronyism when ok st, who held miss st to 3 the week before ,gave up 28 to utsa just in the 4th quarter, in a game that they otherwise dominated. will gundy be soft again, or will he want to stick it to holgerson. ok st beat that smith, Austin, and the other WR by 10 at home last year.
I have checked the scout site, and the WVU homers were expecting the spread to be around ok st -28. when the homers are expected a beat down, that does not bode well for the team, and possibly a good sign for the ok st backers....

why do you think WVU will cover 21 Flyguy? From my perspective, even if they play inspired D, they won't have the ability to stay close to Ok St. They only chance I see is a back door cover if the chump gundy calls the dogs off on his former assistant, like he did against his former college OC in Larry Coker in the 4th quarter. Personally, I think Gundy was embarrassed that his team gave up that many points along with the fact that it looked fishy. I think Ok St will score 50+ and hold WVU to under 20...

Whats up Guys. Im not a big poster but I have been a member of this forum for quite some time. I have been a WVU fan since im born. All though Im a fan I live in New York not Morgantown so i dont get distracted. Let me tell you what I know about West Virginia and you can make your own decision.
WVU gets some of the best players in the country year after year after year. The problem with WVU is the players they get are head cases.A prime example of a WVU star is Adam "Pacman" Jones. A Terriffic player that has off the field problems.
Let me get to the point. Over the last 10 years more times then not WVY plays up to teams that are better then them. They also play down to teams that are much worse. This year I knew WVU would struggle with William and Mary and they did. What happens is they dont take teams seriously that stink. Teams that are good they come to play.

Oklahoma-WVU is 21 point underdogs and they come to play almost knocking off Oklahoma.
Georgia State- They should of not covered but either Georgia States really bad or WVU took this game seriously.

yea, whatever dude...ok st has had two weeks to prepare...ok st has a better D, a systematic O, and equal if not more motivation than WVU to impress...last week a lot ok St peers for better or worse beat the $hit out of bad teams...not saying WVU is as bad as those teams, but honestly, even without the Maryland debacle, WVU has not looked good this year. Even the supposed strong D displayed by WVU at Norman is a mirage since OU was hampered with a QB controversy. Tell me, how does a team, who could not stop anyone on D last year, show up, and go point for point with a quasi top 10 focused ok St team...

just a completely moronic assessment...6 turnovers, why did those turnovers...did WVU just not care, and just said fk it, let's just let the terps kick our butts...no, a what appears to be underrated (and recently bad) Terp team created those turnovers...then on like 4 of those, were able to drive down the field and score...I think all the props that the WVU D is getting is undeserved...the WVU could not stop anyone last year, now because they covered at OU early in the season, and because WVU O is so bad, WVU D is supposedly going to step up, slow down Ok St, while a newly inserted QB scores often on a pretty good Ok St D...
