23 points is a lot to give in a game that the Gators just need to win, not blowout South Carolina to stay in the hunt for the National Championship.
I expect Urban Meyer to lead the team to their usual quick start at home, then sit a lot of starters in the 2nd half when the game is in hand (like vs. Vandy last game).
Taking Florida 1st-half (-13.5?) has been money all season.

I agree with Gmar. and on that note what do you think FLORIDA at the HALF and SC at the GAME
Like that play too Turtle. I took Florida 1st-half vs Vandy and foolishly tried to parlay those easy winnings taking them -14 2nd-half (lost 14-7). SC +23 full game is probably the way to go there, but I still prefer only the -13.5/14 1st-half.

i dont think urban meyer will sit the starter at the second half. He knows this SC team is good and cant let them catch up if the gator are ahead. He would want a very comfortable lead (like 3 tds) and like 3 mins left in the game in order for the backups to come in. Last year FL beat SC by 20 points.

The 1st half play is the play of the week...again!! Florida at home against Spurrier makes this ugly early and I doubt a back door cover as well by SC, thier QBs are not good after they get rattled and they both try too hard when forced to perform under duress. As for the second string coming in the second half against Vandy-don't you think Urban would have a little compassion against the likes of Vandy to save something for Spurrier?? I don't see Florida letting off the gas at all in this game, at any point. He knows what this means to his Florida faithful and will embarass Spurrier as much as possible as they did Georgia.

Urban doesn't bench his starters, until the 4Q, with 40+pt on the board, and with a 4 TD lead.
Last week against Vandy was a fluke. The Commodores managed to hold onto the ball, the majority of the 3Q, eating up the clock. If the Gators got the ball back with 4min left, they would've put up another TD, with the starters in. When the 4Q came around, that's when Urban put in the backups, and us 2H backers was screwed.
The Gamecocks don't have the high-power offense, needed to win this game. The only plus they have is their running QB, Garcia. He will probably be able to pick up first downs, enough to eat up the clock. But the Gators know that he can run. So, they want be surprise by his versatility.
I think this is going to be the last, toughest defense, Florida will
face this year. Tebow has played pretty much flawless since the loss to Ole Miss, but I think this is where he makes some mistakes, and takes a few sacks. Fortunately for them, they get to play this one at
home. And at home, the Gators will roll.
South Carolina hasn't lost by double digit this year. And believe me, Myers want nothing more than to be the first in line to give it to them.
But the most important thing to know is....the Gamecocks will never have the lead, and Gators roll, when they play with the lead.

I will have to agree with you on that one gococks17. Both teams are better than last year but SC's D is more improved than Flo's Offense. Last year the D was depleated with injury and lack of confidence. Now they are strong, healthy, and beleave htey will get the job done. SC also has a better coaching staff than Flo. No home field advantage as Spurier BUILT THAT PLACE!!

So. Carolina with the points is the play. Right now I have it at (+21), hopefully, it moves a little more to make it 4 scores. So. Carolina D is a whole lot better than it looks on paper. Not to say that they have an answer for all of those Florida weapons, but I think they have enough to make this one interesting going into the 4th. They are 7-3 and looking to impress some the bigger bowl games. With Spurrior on the sideline they are a good dog to take a shot with. Florida hasn't been tested this year up to this point. I like So. Carolina to give them a game.
Florida 35
So. Carolina 24

only problem last year was our defense was absolutely horrible against the run second half of the season... injuries to horrible coaching on def has dramastically changed this year... wouldnt trade our d for anyone in the nation

Sticking with FLA for the half but SC for the game. Also like the over at 50.5 no matter how good SC's defense is, it isn't fast enough to contain the Gator offense for the whole game. Turnovers will be huge and SC will have plenty after Garcia fumbles and Smellley throws a couple on INTs. Add on the special teams and it further leans to FL for me, but 22.5 is too many for the game in my opinion.
Good Luck to all!
