The line moved off the ranked and made rutgers the favorite.

If this game were on a Saturday I would probably look elsewhere. But it is the only game in town (or at least on TV) and I gotta have something to watch tonight. So…
These teams are very similar. Both teams are 6-2 with their only losses to Pitt and Cincinnati. I guess I would call USF’s schedule slightly tougher with wins over Florida State and West Virginia, as opposed to the Knight’s wins against Maryland, Army and Connecticut. Both teams coming off a bye week.
I guess this comes down to the fact that I was very impressed with the Bulls D two weeks ago against West Virginia. They had lost two in a row and everyone was already predicting the late-season collapse that typically befalls USF. However, they looked determined not to let this happen again and allowed the Mountaineers only 19 points. Actually, if you take out the two loses, USF has allowed only 11 ppg on D (OK, 14.8 ppg if you also take out the two 1AA teams). While, Rutgers points-against are in the same range, its not hard to shut down Army and Maryland (then the Huskies put up 24 against them last week). Edge: South Florida.
Weather: Rainy, windy, low 40’s. Has to help the team with the better D.
Historical trends: none that I can see.
Injuries: nothing game-changing
Rutgers opened as a one-point dog and has moved to a 2½-point favorite. With the public basically split, I’m not quite sure how to interpret this. Any suggestions?
Leaning USF, but I’ll wait to see if the line hits 3.

Teased Rutgers at +11 with Ohio +11.5 (who won tuesday) and No. Ill -7. Now that Rutgers is favored, don't know if I would tease them, but teasing the Bears to +13 seems like a solid pick as well.

im not sure about this, but didnt s.fla beat fla.st. in a really rainy game. i think these guys play well in the shity wx. i know the wx is rally windy and rainy. rutgers is a letdown for me year after year. s.fla gets up for big games.

RUTGERS WINS end of story...once again they moved the line off the ranked bulls squad and made rutgers who has beat nobody to a 2' pt favorite. I was all over the bulls vs w.virginia knew they matched up perfect but rutger's has a very good fit for the bulls thats why they have always given s.f. fits. ...And stop mentioning florida state as a big win...in past years i would say ok..its a huge win but f.s.u. has a defense that would surrender forty ponts in the b league in flag football. Big game at home and believe me the press has ripped rutgers for not having a big win vs a ranked team....well here's your chance rutger's on espn in front of the world..Rutgers by 8...LIP
