I was reading the local paper (Houston) this morning and there was an article about OSU's new OC and A&M's new DC. The article didn't specify, but it seems they have faced off several times in the past, with the most recent being the Armed Forces Bowl last year, when Air Force held the University of Houston to 222 yards and intercepted Keenum 6 times.
I realize that these are different schools with different players, but from a scheme/strategy standpoint, the familiarity is there.

A drop from 3.5 to 2.5 is a HUGE drop... more than a point as it appears.
Some big money has taken the side of A&M, but the big money is wrong as much as it is right.
I am still thinking OSU, I just have not yet pulled the trigger

I'll ride the big money over the team experts who are on the Cowboys !
BOL Wish I had pulled the trigger on AM +3 .......

I'm basically looking at the number 1 offense playing at home on t.v. Thursday night..In the last 2 games that the Aggies have played in turnovers has been an issue. In the last 2 games the Aggies have had 9 fumbles in which 5 were lost fumbles and 4 int's. The 4 int's were in the FIU game in which the Aggies barely won as 28 point favorites. I'm not certain on how those fumbles occured but the Aggies clearly have a problem of hanging on to the ball. OSU doesn't need a great defense if the opponents are willing to just give them the ball.
I also looked at the battle of the qb's in this matchup. Jerrod Johnson for the Aggies can hurt you with the pass and his feet but when you have a comp percentage below 60% as Johnson does you know accuracy is an issue. The OSU defense as weak as they are will need to contain him and make sure he uses his hands more than his feet.
For OSU on offense Weeden doesn't need to rely on his feet like Johnson as he has many weapons to choose from on offense from passing to their run game. Even though their passing game gets all the glory Hunter for OSU brings a nice rushing attack to compliment their passing game.
I really cannot see the A&M defense try to stop the run and passing game of OSU.
I like OSU in this one simply because if it comes down to trading scores the entire game OSU's offense at home should win the battle.
Not saying I'm right but it's just my opinion....

Good luck bro
I know what you are saying about if this game was in Texas it would be different for me as well...probably a no play for me if that was the case as I would still want OSU but not as strong.
last 4 road conference games for A&M they are 1-3 ats.
Good luck bro

Over 70% on OSU and the line falls from 3.5 to 2.5 since Monday. This should be a big, honking red flag. But instead I hear "Well, OSU has all the speed" and "I'm comparing quarterbacks". Now, listen carefully... THE BOOKS ALREADY KNOW EVERYTHING THAT YOU KNOW AND WILL EVER KNOW. And they want you to take OKlahoma State. Do you really need to do any more analysis?
