I can't count how many x's Spurriers Gamecocks have had me biting my nails by keeping the back door open against a team they should throttle. Sumlin is a great coach in his own right and he has been there 3yrs now so these kids have been recruited to fit his system. So not only has he got top flight talent, he has top flight talent that fits his system. Despite losing Jake Matthews this will still be one of  the best o-lines out there and SC is retooling their D-line. Look for A&M to pound with success opening up their leathal passing system. I am sticking w/ A&M and the points, got them at 11 and if they are down 17 in the second half I will still be comfortable. Have fun watching the back door swing open in the wind for the entire 2nd half if u take SC.

Odd line movement, no?  Everywhere I've read, public money is all over SC, line down to -9.5 now.

This A+M defense in all sorts of trouble tonight and I think in the end South Carolina runs them out of there building. Duke was putting a beat down on them till Mr Football put squad on his back. Thompson been there for 5 years so the experience is already with him vs young Aggies QB's. House is going to be rocking. Hopefully no back door shenanigans !
Spurrier at home/ opening night.. I smell big win already. GL

Texas A&M if spread goes back to 10 or above. Always tough going into a hostile environment for your first game, but Kenny Hill, Reynolds, Speedy Noil, and Seals-Jones will be too much to handle outside.

SC wins this game, period so ML is a solid bet but with deep odds for an opener.  A&M has not played defense under Sumlin so that worries me some.  No offense to Thompson at QB for SC but that is a big fall off from Connor Shaw last year, he was the best QB the Cocks have ever had.  Little worried about the 10' in an opener so SC ML for me.   Also taking SC -6 in 1st Half and have SC -1/2 paired with Vandy -3', and Boise +21 tonight.  Great to have the best sport on Earth back with us.  Today is like Christmas to me, and we get gifts the next 15 weeks.  GL to all.

Who could have ever seen that coming?  SC is very tough at home and a rookie QB goes in with all that noise and shreds them for record setting yardage.  Congrats to A&M on a serious beat down on the road.  That is why pre-season polls are a joke.
