Is Wisconsin locked into a bowl already, cuz if they are maybe they will come here just for a vacation like navy did! This line is ultralow, but i'm wondering if whisky got anything to play for?
That bruiser John Clay should tear up UH defense on paper, but damn if the bows havent impressed me in their 4 game win streak....I might have to rush home after the game to buy my hawaii bowl tix...if there's a SU win!

Don't even think the line is that low; Hawaii has been pretty solid since Moniz has settled in.
Still lean Wisconsin I think, but their D has been pretty bad the last few weeks so its a little tougher, but no reason to think Wisconsin won't score 40.

I've seen Hawaii choke too many important games that count and this will be one of them. They aren't ready yet to beat Wisconsin and stop John Clay's running game. I hope the Warriors prove me wrong, but I know this schools mentality. Choke time baby!!

Here's what I think, If wisky is motivated and they want to, they will cover easily. Very, very similar team in Fresno St....Similar type of RB in Ryan Matthews. See Fresno st score? This is what is capable of Wisconsin. Now for the actual, I'm not sure they will benefit anyway from the win and maybe here to enjoy the vacation ala navy. Honestly UH defense is playing better and no new injuries to report, and Wisky prolly hasnt seen a pass offense quite like Hawaii's, but I think the outcome (ATS) is dependant on Wisconsin's coaches, if they get their boys up for this game they will cover, if they don't...well I'll have something to do on xmas eve!

Phan - I agree.. if Hawaii wins looks like they will stay home for the bowl game against SMU.... I think your right, magic number is 14.. although i'm gonna pull the trigger on Saturday night even if it stays at 13... i can see a back door cover in this game Hawaii loses by 10-13 points. Sharp

although the Warriors shocked the crap out of me by beating Navy I wish they would do it again against Whisky but I don't think they can.
Due to the military specs the Navy players cannot be a certain size so speed is the key to Navy's game and fortunately the Warriors were able to contain their speed and score points on them as well....but it's a whole different story for Wisconsin. Those are some big boys coming here to Hawaii and will probably pound their ground game on the Warriors defense.
Anyway it would be nice if the Warriors would win this one and play SMU in the Sheraton Bowl and beat down June Jones and his new team but I don't think that can happen.

The Hawaii win against Navy was an impressive victory. However, Hawaii was looking at at one dimensional offense and who has an undersized offensive line. Wisconsin has locked for a bowl bid that's true, but losing still sucks. I really don't think the Badgers want to get punked by a Hawaii squad that everyone is hyping up because of last week's win against a so-called good Navy team.
Badgers -7 1st half and -12.5 game

Hey Big Daddy how ya doing buddy? Just wanted to say I've been following these threads all year and I've enjoyed reading your posts. You usually have some some intellgent insight especially on the over/unders. I haven't kept up with your exact record but I think your right alot more than your wrong. Thanks it is appreciated.
As far as this game is concerned I feel Wisconsin is the play. Hawaii has made a nice recovery after a bad start and as Mush pointed out is on a nice 4 game winning streak. However prior to last weeks win over Navy the other 3 wins on that streak have been agianst teams with a combined record of 7-26 SU. For the season Wisky is averaging 198 yds per game rushing while the Warriors are giving up 193. Even though last weeks win was impressive the Bows still gave up 248 yds rushing and 5.2 yds per carry to the Midshipmen. The last 3 times the Badgers have went to the islands they were ready to play and won handily. Even though those teams were coached by Barry Alverez his hand picked replacement is cut from the same cloth. L.h.Hoosier hit the nail on the head the Badgers will be extra motivated coming off the loss to Northwestern. The one reason for concern is the Badger pass defense which has been less than steller this year giving up more than 300 yds in 3 games so far. I'm thinking with 2 weeks to prepare Bielema can come up with some answers. Wisky gets enough stops to outscore the Bows in what should a high scoring game. Wisconsin -11.5 GLTA

The right play here is to take the UNDER. Wisconsin will eat clock up by running the ball downfield. The ? is whether or not Hawaii"s defense doesn't give them quick easy scores early in the game. I'm looking for the total to finish right around 52, but I also wouldn't be surprised if Hawaii won this game straight up. If Hawaii wins the game, it will go on the over no doubt. but then again, I don't know jack shit.

thank you I hope you do well this weekend as I see it so far your Bama boys are taking care of business against Florida....I try my best to help...not always correct but I try..
Besides being a Warrior fan I'm also a BIG Longhorn fan so if things go well for them maybe a possible Bama/Longhorn game in the National Championship...
Aloha and Happy Holidays to you and the family

WISCONSIN VS HAWAII IS ACTUALLY A GAME I MIGTHT TRY AND WATCH. ALTHOUGH I'M BORN AND RAISED ON MAUI, ATTENDED UH MANOA 91'-95', I MUST SAY THAT I'M A BIT DIS APPOINTED WITH THE WARRIORS SINCE J. JONES AND COLT BRENAN LEFT THE PROGRAM. I BELIEVE THAT COLT BRENAN IS ON THE ROSTER FOR THE WASHINGTON REDSKINS BUT HAS NOT SEEN A LOT OF PLAYING TIME. SURE WAS FUN TO WATCH THE WARRIORS GO 12-0 WITH THOSE TWO ON STAFF. I DON'T HITCH A RIDE ON ANY BAND WAGON SO LET IT BE KNOWN THAT I AM A FAN OF THE NO SAINTS AND THE SAINTS ONLY SINCE 2007'.
THE WARRIORS HAS DEFINITELY STEPPED IT UP SINCE ALEXANDER WAS SIDELINED AND MONIZ TOOK THE FIELD. WITH THAT SAID, THE OFFENSE ACTUALLY HAS A DESCENT PASSING GAME BUT CANT SAY MUCH ABOUT THEIR "D".
THE SEASON WHEN WARRIORS WERE 12-0 IS SOMETHING TO REMEMBER WHEN PICKING THIS GAME. AS OF RIGHT NOW (SATURDAY DEC.5th) THERE IS NO WEATHER TO WORRY ABOUT. WE HAVE HAD SOME RAIN AS OF LATE BUT I THINK THAT IT HAS DEFINITELY PASSED. THE ONLY THING ON THE NEWS REPORTS ARE THE MASSIVE FUCKIN WAVES ROLLING IN, MEASURING UP TO 20, 30, 40, AND 60 FEET AT JAWS COME LATE SUNDAY AND MONDAY. THAT IS 120 FEET FACES.
DOES EVERYONE REMEMBER THAT GAME WHEN THE HUSKIES CAME AND PLAYED THE UNDEFEATED UH WARRIORS AND THEIR #1 SCORING OFFENSE. THEY SMOKED THE WARRIORS AND SHUT DOWN THEIR OFFENSE. COLT BRENNAN EVEN HAD TO LEAVE THE GAME. I AM NOT SAYING THAT IT WILL HAPPEN TO MONIZ, BUT WHAT I AM SAYING IS THAT UH WARRIORS DO NOT DO WELL AGAINST UPPER DIVISIONS OR TEAMS THAT PLAY WELL AGAINST UPPER DIVISIONS.
THE POINT SPREAD IS DEFINITELY GENEROUS WITH +13.5, WHEN A QUESTIONABLE WISCONSIN DEFENSE IS ON DECK. THE ONLY WAY THAT I SEE THE WARRIORS HAVING A CHANCE HERE IS IF THEIR OFFENSE PLAYS LIGHTS OUT. ANOTHER THING TO TAKE IN CONSIDERATION IS THAT WISCONSIN GOT HERE ON WEDNESDAY I THINK. WHAT THAT SAYS IS THAT IF YOU ARE BETTING ON WISCONSIN TO COVER, YOU BETTER HOPE THAT THE TEAM STAYED AWAY FROM WANTING TO PARTY CAUSE IT CAN DEFINITELY BE INTICING. I KNOW OF SOME TEAMS THAT COME AND DO SO, EVEN GETTING INTO THE WATER,AND BY GAME TIME THEY DO NOT HAVE THE LEGS TO COVER THE SPREAD.
NOTHING ON THIS GAME BUT IF I HAD TO CHOOSE, I WOULD TAKE THE POINTS. HAWAII IS KNOWN TO SURPRISE PEOPLE BY THEIR INTENSITY AND WILL. IT WOULD BE COOL TO SEE THEM WIN STRAIGHT UP AGAINST WISCONSIN. GOOD LUCK TO ALL.

We've made some very good money on Hawaii @ home in the Islands to close several years; have we not?
Though this is not one of the better Warrior teams. They have been a bit better of late vs. lower level competition. I really wanna try Hawaii SU in an upset. I'm just not seeing the rushing match-up I need to see in order to justify much for that. (unless Whisky goes beach crazy and is not ready to play)
Hawaii SU for .11u. Hawaii buying 15 for Hawaii+27.5 for .33u.
