For what? Wright is going to be hard to get right now because everyone wants to low ball given his injury issue. However, he is on a 3 year contract so he isn't going to be cheap. Roberts is a waiver wire guy so I treat him accordingly.

Steal this is a VERY FAIR offer but due to the rules of this keeper league I think I am going to have to decline. If I could franchise Heyward or if y ou keept him for 2 or 3 years I would be all over this deal. But the more I think about how this league is set up the more I just don't think I can do this deal. Sorry man.

I told you that it was make or break on day 1. My biggest problem on Monday, though, was Valverde imploded. We never talked about that possibility.
So I just kept going at that point. But you also said that winning was out of the question and that's not entirely true. K's are...but Wins are not. He only had 4 wins last week.

1 inning 2 runs 4 hits/walks is imploding .
So add him and Weaver.
8 IP, 3 runs, 13 hits walks. So that leaves you with a 2.66 ERA and a 1.60 WHIP. What am i missing? You have Mo to get your whip down along with Street. By the end of the week it would be around 1 and if need be you could have Weaver @ Shitty Twins on Saturday. Like i said before its just my opinion on how i see things. We all dont play it the same way. I just like the 3-2 win.

And don't overestimate Weaver. Dude's been shit lately against shitty offenses.
And I agree with your philosophy...but Hellickson against a horrible Tigers' offense was something I had to do.
And I'm going to ride it out now. It was always in my mind that I could still win the wins category. I can still do that. I'll be playing my pitchers as I always do and that's based on matchups.
But lets be real with Collmenter. He pitched remarkably in his first 2 starts and was awesome for the first 3 innings of this game until Cargo took him deep. I really like this guy and I think he'll be very serviceable for me. If he doesn't...oh well...on to the next hot commodity.

Phil Humber may be going to the bullpen because the Sox don't want to run with a 6-man rotation and don't want to swallow their pride and take out a long time starter making more money. Pretty much the only way he stays in the rotation is if someone is traded (like Jackson or Floyd).
