#1 prospect in the Astros system. Take it with a grain of salt...but Pineiro was on his way out anyway over his last 3 starts.
As for Lawrie...if he's the real deal...he'll be eligible for 2nd and 3rd base. I can handle that.
It's not like rookies have done me wrong yet.

Piniero has had an ERA under 4 and won over 25 GAMES in the last 2 1/2 yrs... He will be picked up immediately...

Yea...15 of those wins came in his career year behind Dave Duncan. Remember when he was useless before then? Kinda like another Dave Duncan experiment named Kyle Lohse.
Pineiro started his season coming off the DL playing way over his head. It was fun while it lasted...but he's just given up hit after hit after hit. 31 in his last 3 starts.

Might be a little early to jump ship on him... But he has been getting hit hard in his last 3 starts

sparky: we have 24 Roster spots (10 offensive, 8 Pitching, 6 BN)
if you have 4 keepers that means you have 21 total roster spots to fill so if you keep all your Draft Picks you will be done drafting after Rd. 21 ( 22 thru 24 picks mean nothing)
*if you have 4 keepers and trade away your 4th/6th then you still have 21 roster spots to fill but you wont have any picks in the 4th or 6th so you will be done drafting after Rd. 23.
*if you decide to do 4 contracts + Franchise tag + Prospect Contract that means you have 6 players towards your 24 man roster so you have to fill 18 spots. depending on how many draft picks u trade away will depend on what Rd your done drafting in.
* everyone is gonna have at least 2-3 Keepers + the option to keep 2 more (franchise/Prospect) so the 22nd thru 24th Rd picks are basically just there. its like their meaningless and its like your giving me a 4th and 6th for JUST Latos cause you wont need them 23rd and 24th selections.. (unless you have no keepers and trdae away draft picks)

I believe we're increasing rosters next year anyway so we can get extra spots for prospects and shit. So I think it'll work. It's whatever...I'll take the risk to be honest.
Are you still good for the trade? I'm about to send it out...just trying to figure out who I'm going to drop.

im on the fence only cause he's a two year Keeper. i want to and i dont ya know... even though im in 11th place im not that far out of a playoff spot, two b2b weeks of like 7-3 or better and i move up a bit.. let me think about it some more and i'll send it back if i make up my mind.. you only want Latos or would u take someone else ?
