Did you see him last night? He did that twice and it tailed the same way both times, missing Jeter and Cano's lazy ass didn't get his back either, allowing the ball to go behind him. Both runners moving to 3rd.
Just STOP throwing. Let them steal. At least they only move up 1 base.

I'm only looking for draft picks or players under contract. But there is no need for me to trade them now either. Regardless of how they play...they'll still have good value because of what they have done and since they're eligable for the contract.
But I'm still interested about a question that I never had answered. Why can we only have 1 rookie under contract at once? I don't know if we can have a vote or if you think it's a good idea...but we should be able to give a new player the prospect contract every year. 1 contract a year. Down the road it may have people making tough decisions.
That's how I thought it was going into this. Nothing was in the rules clarifying how that would go down so nothing is set in stone about that. I remember reading the "franchise tag" thing and it saying that it's a great way to reserve a prospect. So I figured that this year...I'd be able to have my rookie and give my tag to a prospect next season, and have both under prospect contracts after next year. I won't be doing that now anyway since I have Wainwright for my franchise tag but still.
This first year is sketchy, as expected because it's all of our first time doing this. Just throwing things around.

Yea...and it's not like these guys aren't helping me right now. It would be a waste if they were all bums.
But like I've said...I fully plan on keeping Hosmer over everyone. 1st base is so weak next season with everyone having the top 1st basemen as keepers. It's Ryan Howard and then nobody.

And lets not forget Espinosa is a rookie. He's not a top rookie...but he hits homers and steals bases. Which is a solid option for 2B.
And then Moustakas is an insanely touted prospect as well.
