Yet they've won 5 of their last 6.

And they finished the west coast road trip before the Red Sox series 6-3.

They're not playing bad...the Sox just have their number. And...apparently...losses to the Red Sox count much more times in the loss column than a loss against any other team.

I'm a Yankee fan because my father grew up a Yankee fan (for the most part...that's how it works).

I do that with my friends...but not with my family.

My friend is a Laker, Cowboys, UNC (basketball), Tennessee (Football) and Braves fan.

Naturally...I'm a Giants, Duke (basketball), Georgia (football) fan so it makes it a healthy rivalry. But I try to get him riled up by rooting against the Lakers and Braves. He HATES the fact that LeBron owns the Lakers...and I don't let him forget it.

All in good fun though.

To add to my post. I feel that, if we are going to have that prospect roster to hold rookies until they come up...than I think we should be able to have more players under contract. I just think it's more fun that way.
