Ktrain had mentioned this and I thought it may facilitate some good debate. It's still very early in camp and my rankings can always change.
RB
Elite Tier 1) Foster 2) Johnson 3) Peterson 4) Rice: could be #1 in all formats this year: #2 in my PPR rankings
2nd Tier: 5) McCoy: maybe couple spots higher in PPR 6) Charles 7) Mendenhall 8) McFadden
3rd Tier: 9) Gore 10) MJD 11) S. Jackason 12) Forte: little higher in PPR
4th Tier: 13) Blount: little lower in PPR 14) Bradshaw 15) Turner 16) Greene: couple spots lower in PPR 17) Hillis 18) D. Williams 19) Grant: think he's going low in drafts but I could have a little high
5th Tier: 20) Ingram: just moved up last night; Saints say he'll be a big part of the offense 21) Wells 22) Moreno 23) Best: probably 4th tier in PPR 24) D. Thomas 25) F. Jones: little higher in PPR 26) F. Jackson

Overall I agree with everything, although I think Charles should be top tier. But if by chance he loses carries to Jones or GL carries then you have him right.
Good stuff

I have Charles a couple spots lower than most because I'm worried about all the highly ranked rush defenses the Chiefs face.

Rivers a little overrated IMO. I actually kind of like Big Ben ahead of Rivers this year as well. Great passing schedule for the Steelers. Call me crazy I guess.

3rd Tier: 9) Austin 10) Wayne: could switch Wayne & Austin 11) D. Jackson 12) Marshall: possible top 10 in PPR
Sounds like Marshall and Henne have finally found some rhythm. I know it's just a scrimmage but 3 grabs for 75 yards and 3 TDs for Marshall at least catches your attention. With the Desean Jackson holdout (supposedly ending tomorrow) I think I'm moving Marshall ahead of him. And if Marshall and Henne can show me something in preseason games then I could move him as high as 9th and top of the 3rd tier.

Lions rookie Mikel Leshoure done for the year with a torn ACL. Moving Jahvid Best from 23 to 18 in my RB rankings. There's a good chance I move him up even a little more.
Maurice Morris could now be worth a late round shot in deeper leagues.

The more I read and the more I think about, I'm having a tough time seeing Foster come anywhere close to last year. For now I'm going to drop him to 3rd in my rankings behind CJ & AP. Might even think about moving Rice ahead of him as well.
Updated Elite Tier: 1) Chris Johnson 2) Adrian Peterson 3) Arian Foster 4) Ray Rice

Tolbert and Matthews each got 2 carries on the 1 drive they played, but Tolbert with the short receiving TD. Looks like carries will be about even and as expected Tolbert will get passing down work. He should be drafted higher than Matthews.
Dallas got the ball in Felix Jones' hands on 4 of 8 plays on their opening drive. He responded well with 39 total yards (23 rushing & 16 receiving). Looks like the Cowboys plan to get him heavily involved. We'll see if he can hold up with that many touches.
Vick looks good even without his top 2 WRs. And it looks like Jason Avant and Riley Cooper can be capable fill ins at WR. With Maclin's mystery illness, both are worth targeting late in fantasy drafts.

Haven't check the exact numbers yet, but it seems like there were quite a few touchbacks last night. I imagine with the league moving kickoffs up this will become the norm. If anyone's in a return yards league then don't expect return numbers similar to years past. Return men simply won't be getting the same number of opportunities this season.

Do you think Cooper or Avant will be possible sleepers at all or would the acquisition of Steve Smith makes them not worth keeping even in a deep league(like my 16 team league that drafts Wed)?
I'm also assuming that Maclin will be healthy by Week 1 which at this point is really up in the air from what I'm hearing/reading.

whats ur opinion on Benson this year ? he gets a ton of carries and saw 300 touches and 1,100 yards L2 years
I am not a fan of Cedric Benson. Always found him to be an underachieving, lazy bum. I give the guy about a 75% chance of getting injured and/or arrested and suspended. He's currently my 31st ranked RB and at the bottom of my 6th tier.
My rankings have changed plenty since I sent them to you. After a couple preseason games I'll send some updated ones for you to compare against yours.

Since I said this, I've watched some highlights of him from last night against Detroit and he surprisingly looked half decent. I'm still not going to get too excited though. Maybe I'll bump him up a spot to 30.

Matt Ryan made it a point to find Julio Jones. 4 catches, 2 targets for 43 yards, and 1 carry for 12 yards. He should be a major factor in the Falcons offense. Michael Turner looked better than I expected. I'll bump him up a couple spots in my rankings and will keep an eye on him the rest of the preseason.
Matthew Stafford looked really good going 6 for 7 for 71 yards and 2 TDs. One to Megatron and the other a great catch by Burleson in the endzone. He could easily be a top 10 fantasy QB if healthy.
Tim Hightower looked decent against Pitt D. He managed 4 carries for 30 yards and 1 reception for 8 yards on his first 5 touches. He did struggle after that only gaining 14 yards on his next 6 carries, but positive things overall.
5 more preseason games going tonight. Packers/Browns starts on NFL Network in about an hour. Will have some fantasy thoughts on these games tonight/tomorrow.

Colt McCoy and the Cleveland offense has looked great so far scoring on 2 of their first 3 drives. McCoy is 9/10 for 135 yards and 1 TD. Hillis finished off the other drive with a 3 yard TD but it was McCoy that got them down the field with 2 passes to TE Ben Watson for 56 yards. McCoy also did a nice job of spreading the ball around, completing passes to 6 different receivers in this short time. I'll definitely be watching this Browns offense the rest of the preseason.
