My offer would have been Morales and Timmy for A-Rod, Markakis and Garcia...no closer.

I heard the craziest thing the other day, speaking of A-Rod.

In the trade with the Rangers, the Yankees gave up Alfonso Soriano and a "player to be named later". The Yankees gave a choice. The player turned out to be Joaquin Arias. The other choice...Robinson Cano.

Im not going to give either Hamels or Garcia in this deal. It would be the 2 hitters and 2 closers. You will not have to worry about the Rockies closer situation because i would give you both Street and Morales. Sound good?
