Sorry fellas...JRoll is officially off the market. I got the #1 guy I wanted for him and I'm going with that.

 

Morneau is still up for discussion though. But I don't mind keeping him.

I hate days like yesterday. Getting off to such a slow start on Monday just gets me feeling down.

I know it evens out on Thursday...but I just don't like it.

Rollins is back on the block...but so far there aren't any offers I'm liking so I'll probably be keeping him.

Today at softball powerade was asking if i would do Votto straight up for Kemp and then i told him no way. Then he asked for Gonzo but i just cant straight up. Looks like no once has any interest in either Gonzalez or Votto. At least anyone who wants to give me a fair deal

It's worse for me. I was SO pumped to do a Rollins for Reynolds trade. At 10 am today, he said "let's make it happen". I logged on, sent him the offer and came back later to see it was declined. Then he says "I'm not feeling it".

Barbon has been hot. Was thinking about picking him up but he doesent do anything but hit for an avg now. A home run from a guy like that or like Scutaro for me is just a bonus. I wish he still stole bases cause i would have snagged him

Ya you cant be mad. Trades are tough to make. Sometimes you just think its good for your team one day and the next day its not. I was ready to trade Powerade Gonzalez for Kemp a week ago but he never got back to me. Now theres no way i would do it

But Borbon, batting 9th, gets a tons of run chances to go along with his average. But...he's a better leadoff hitter than Andrus (4-5 in the leadoff spot on Sunday). He seems to have proven he's ready to get back in that spot.

 

Niese comes back to start after the rain delay + an offensive explosion and now he's allowed 4 straight hard hit balls.

Luckily...Boesch got me a homer.

28 Homers in Double-A last season. Came out of nowhere. But...He actually has faultered already and fixed himself. Pitchers learned how to pitch to him and it took him no time to re-adjust. I like this guy.

Ah its only the 1st day basically. Yesterday there were 3 games. If you are getting killed on Friday morning then you can start getting worried

4-0 in runs

4-0 in Homers

12-0 in RBIs

and I've come close in all of them with the help of Borbon and Boesch.

Trust me Sparky the guy has been doing it since hes been up. No reason to think he wont keep it up. Im a believer just like you should be a believer in my man Brett Gardner. BAT HIM LEADOFF JOE!!!!!!!!!!! Dont get me wrong Jeter is a great hitter. But the guy never works the count. He swings at the 1st pitch 50% of the time. When he reaches hes no threat to really steal the base. I dont get why they wont stick him up there

I agree 100% but Jeter can't bat second

He led the majors in Double pays for years in the 2 hole which is why they moved him... Jeter will be the lead off hitter the rest if his career
