Ok ff experts...help a brother out

Question

I am in a 14 team keeper league. We are allowed to keep two players. PPR league (each reception worth half point) 6 points for tds, etc.

Should I keep:
Option 1 - Andre Johnson (lose 1st round pick)
                Pierre Thomas (lose 3rd round pick)

       OR

Option 2 - Andre Johnson (lose 1st round pick)
                Randy Moss (lose 2nd round pick)

What are your thoughts on this? Really appreciate it....

definitely moss and johnson.  those are sick WRs to start your team with, especially a PPR format.  i like thomas, but he will be available to redraft, whereas moss most likely would not.

One concern: Do you think I will be screwing myself of any chance at all of getting a RB? A lot of them are kept by owners and I just wonder who I could snag in the 3rd round.

I appreciate your advice though.

man not to worry I think at the 3rd round there are plenty of upside RB's who paired with either of your keeper opitons above could form a solid foundation for a 14 team keeper league squad.

The guys I think who u should grab:

Forte/Mccoy/J.Best/Forsett/Barber all look like solid fantasy bets

not so much group Wells/F.Jones/R.Brown/Jacobs

I&#x27;ve got the first pick and I&#x27;ve been thinking about taking Rodgers. My next pick wouldnt be til #20 and I thought I could get Mathews there and then a receiver... but i did a mock draft today and wasnt even close to getting him&#xD;&#xA;(we get 6pts for TD by QB btw)&#xD;&#xA;So now im looking into Chris Johnson then Romo - though he went alot earlier than expected last year.  &#xD;&#xA;I really think Rodgers is the top pick in my league and am even thinking I would rather have the 4th or 5th pick so I could start off with Rodgers, Mathews...

Do you have any deep keepers? I wouldnt keep Pierre Thomas but I wouldnt roll into a keeper league without a 1st and 2nd pick.

Moss status with NE uncertain after this season and he&#x27;s getting old. I would personally opt for Plan #1. That way, you get your 2nd round pick in 2011 and have a solid RB rather than a questionable WR. We&#x27;ve all see Moss drop off the globe in situations he don&#x27;t like (such as Oak) There&#x27;s no guarantee the Pats will pay him what he wants to return in 2011.
