I may sound crazy for even asking this, but check out our scoring system before advising. I am getting offered MJD for Sproles and Tolbert. I'm in a 12 team league that rewards 2 points per reception and 1 point per carry, as well as many of the other standard scoring options out there. We start 2 RB, 2 WR, and a Flex RB/WR. My roster looks like this:
What do you guys think? I think MJD is still a top tier guy, but don't know if I want to lose my depth at RB, especially with Tolbert and Sproles getting a lot of catches out of the backfield.

So you guys wouldn't think that even with 1 point per carry, MJD wouldn't be possibly a starter on my team? I mean he's going to get anywhere from 17-25 carries each week and maybe a couple of receptions. Seems like he's better than Sproles/Tolbert, and might even deserve a starting spot behind Rice.

Tolbert is really underrated fantasy wise. The main is the lead Halfback for the team, goal line back, and somehow manages to catch passes out of the backfield. He is a big part of the offense.
After 2 knee surgeries I dunno if MJD is still the same back anymore. Deji Karim is more than capable, and MJD"s YPC was absolutely putrid vs. the Jets.
I wouldn't count on too many passes coming his way if McCown is still the QB. That guy just holds onto the ball.

Ok I think I proposed a trade to him that he may be interested in. Let me know what you guys think.
I'm thinking about offering him Schaub, Tolbert, and Sproles for Rodgers and MJD. I kind of still like MJD as a top RB and I like that Gabbert is getting the nod to start. Or I could even hang onto Tolbert and package Greene in there, b/c I actually think Tolbert is a little underrated too.
Regarding our QB scoring, we get 6 points per TD, +1 for each reception and -1 for an incompletion, and 5 points for 300 plus yards passing. They also receive 1 point per carry. My team would then look like this:
I lose my RB depth, but I upgrade at RB and QB imo. What do you guys think?

Also of note is that MDJ has logged 204 total yards in the first two games; it's the best start in the 6 years he has been in the league. And that was against two pretty solid defenses, Titans and Jets.

I dont think this loss of depth hurts at RB as u are still extremmely deep. 4 top 15-20 RB's is deep. Be intersted to know who u start at flex? Harvin, Greene, Blount, I think Edwards and Sims Walker are underrated right now. I would try to package 2 of the guys you dont think will start on roster much and get a stud. Something like Harvin and Blount for Desean Jackson, Fitzgerald, White, event Vincent Jackson???? I think u understand what I am saying.
