Roll the dice on the Josh Gordon news

Unless you absolutely cannot spare the space then I understand. But think of what the odds are that your #5 or 6 RB/WR really makes an impact compared to where Gordon can take you. I&#x27;ve had to drop Jordan Mathews who is prospect I think can play. Also dropped Houston D. In a league where we get 2 points per sack. Tough letting a team with Watt and Clowney go. But for this hug I roll the dice..... Let&#x27;s see what unfolds.

I was getting sucked into the hype of a Gordon suspension reduction at first,but then realized that their job is to promote magical probabilites.

Gordon is a stud no doubt....but, no way he repeats or comes close to what he did last year. He&#x27;ll have solid games, but nothing like what we saw him do. I&#x27;m sorry. I drafted him last season and plugged him in and he basically won the title for me. He will be targeted now big time. There&#x27;s too much hype on him now to do what he did. Regression is inevitable. GL!

Would you guys drop Kelvin Benjamin or Kendall Wright for him, hoping that he returns after a short suspension.  Gordon won me two leagues last year, so I love the kid.  But I have high expectations for Benjamin and Wright as well.

Or Terrance Williams even?  I have Benjamin in two leagues, and Wright and Williams in one league, each.  Thinking Gordon for a possible partial season would be worth more than one of these guys.

&#xD;&#xA;I&#x27;m not a fan of that TEN team at all,so wright could go imo.&#xD;&#xA;Williams should get plenty of targets this year in DAL,he&#x27;d be the last WR to get rid of.&#xD;&#xA;Kelvin looks promising but he&#x27;s on the Panthers,when they do throw he&#x27;ll be double teamed.Greg Olsen is the top receiver on that team when they throw and he&#x27;s a TE.

Oh mike, none of those prospects I would drop for the speculation. Please note that much of my logic here is based on history. When Ricky got roped they let you know off rip. They hushed the Gordon story, then later said he's out. Come to find out there are potential bargaining concessions that Gordon may find a loophole in. Reminder, they let this linger. This is perhaps why.

Gordon is an athlete. Dare I say that plug in Gordon in place of D.Thomas, and Mannings stats would look even better. Do not discount his skills. He's still a pup.

I&#x27;m sure of the latest about the chances of Gordon being reinstated.  I heard he might make it back to play some of the season... but that news is now about a week old.The NFL is now front and center being vilified to totally mishandling the Ray Rice issue.  So as of TODAY, I doubt they are likely in the leniencey/reinstatement mood.consider that for a moment.

He also has a DUI in North Carolina... from what I understand, the league has yet to address this issue. They generally wait to see how the legal system plays out before adding punishment.

The NFL is a joke from this perspective. They should NOT be making any punishment in addition to legal matters. But they do, in hope of looking responsible from a PR perspective. They usually end up shooting themselves in the foot like an idiot,

I chase flush draws occasionally. And I know I&#x27;m chasing long odds here. As of this writing I take a flyer on Gordon as opposed to the justin forsett, Allen burns, or Crowell news that&#x27;s out there. Someone will be right, someone will be wrong. Winners and losers is what life&#x27;s about, not participants. Let&#x27;s see how it unfolds.

Still no news. It&#x27;s really a tough gamble, but going into the week unless there is an obvious player that should not be available, then hang onto this lottery ticket for another go round. I&#x27;m in a 12 man league with Ryan Mathews available and with the 4th waiver claim. In this case I have to drop Gordon.

I don&#x27;t particularly fancy all the little news they keep letting out. Just get it over with. Is he going to play or not. Everyday it&#x27;s on pins and needles. Back in the day when Ricky was smoking trees and got roped, they let you know off rip he&#x27;ll be gone. This story is just so damn tiring.

Heard he&#x27;ll be back week 12 which is close to the end of the regular fantasy season.He&#x27;ll get to practice with team for only two weeks before fantasy playoffs start.
