Dude I don't know how I could appear more sarcastic.  I have no problem what so ever if you, your brother, your sister, your mom, etc wants to play.  The more the merrier I say.  Just need active owners and I am sure he will be.  BOL!

iam in for life. gonna look over the new rules. lets use this offseason to set ALL THE RULES STRAIGHT. so we dont keep changeing em every year.

are we useing last years performance to set the draft order? and if so what is it?/

There are no details to get done. Everything on the website is set in stone. Those are the rules. If you dont like it tough. I dont mean you personally just in general. Its the only way we are going to get a keeper league set up.

No. It is what it is. There is nothing that is not going to be kept track of. For the question you are asking that is why on the website there is a tab "Players under contract". Click on that and it says " Here we will list the players under contract and how many years they have remaining".

I dont know what you mean order. You will be able to select from the players on your team. Its not some pool where we are picking guys from. If you want to keep your September call up guy you are more then welcome to under the prospect rules. You will then have to drop your other prospect unless you are keeping him under one of your normal contracts. Let me know if there is something i didnt answer there .

When you say that you can keep your existing prospect or select a new one...what does that mean? Where can you select a new prospect from?

Lets say 3 of the teams have zero prospects they don't want to keep...then what happens? Must you have a prospect under contract?

i like the contract idea,  4yr 3yr 2yr 1 yr.....but the prospect is that a whole new contract?.....and 10yr total is that too much? and taging playersw/cotracts before seoson starts what if my 15th rd draft pic becomes a monster stud mid season and at the end of yr i wanna lock him up for sveral yrs, 

PROSPECT CONTRACTS

Also at the end of the season, each team will be allowed one Prospect Contract. This contract can be used on any player who is on your roster and is also eligible for Major League’s Rookie of the Year award. A player is eligible for the Rookie of the Year award if:

The player has no major league experience beyond the current season, OR

The player has no more than 130 at bats beyond the current season, OR

The player has no more than 50 inning pitched beyond the current season.

Once you have awarded a player your Prospect Contract, you can keep him on your roster for up to 4 additional seasons. At the end of each season, you will be able to decide whether you wish to keep your existing prospect or select a new one. If you opt for a new prospect, this player must be rookie-eligible in the year you select him. You then lose all rights to your old prospect and he becomes a free-agent in next year’s draft.

A prospect contract may be traded - as with all other contracts, the contract follows the player and the team that acquires the prospect will retain the rights to that player for the same length of time as the team that traded the player away. As a result, it is possible that a team could end up with multiple prospect contracts.

If a team has more than one prospect under contract and decides to drop one of them, that team CANNOT sign a new prospect at the end of the season. A new prospect can only be signed by team that has no prospect under contract.

If a team trades away a prospect, the team will not receive a compensation pick in the following draft. The team that trades away the prospect will be able to sign a new prospect at the end of the season according to the rules listed above.

Im trying to figure out whats so hard to understand.

You will be allowed to franchise tag him for 1 year giving you a total of 2 years with the player. No different then in the MLB or NFL if you were to sign your last round draft pick to a 1 year deal and they had a break out rookie year you would be shit out of luck and it would be the players option to go get a new contract. This will hands down be the most competitive/real life fantasy league you will ever take part of. I promise .

I also can not make it sound any easier. Let me break it down as simple as i can. YOU CAN HAVE MORE THEN 1 ROOKIE/PROSPECT ON YOUR TEAM AT ONCE. You may draft 2 rookies. You may pick one up in September. All while having a guy from the year before. You can either A. Keep the guy from the previous year or B. Select another rookie/prospect off of YOUR TEAM.

Don't get mad...I'm really having a hard time understanding things of late. 

I know it's a while away but...after the 2nd season...what happens to your prospect once his contract is up? Does he go back in the draft or could you re-sign him?

I'm slowly but surely understanding this. My head is on overload right now with everything I have on my plate of late.
