Yea...that stuff sounds about right. I just didn't know if we give another 2 or 3 year contract to a player (if we want to) after we draft next year to make up for the guy we give the 2 year contract this year when his contract is up. You know? Choose wisely. Your eyes get big to be able to keep another guy but have to realize you only have 10 (which seems like a ton NOW but maybe not down the road).
Just a lot of stuff I started to think about last night when I was looking over the trade. I don't mind trading Cruz, but I don't know if it's a great idea since I already traded a contract player. Is it smart to hold onto a guy for that reason?
Lot of stuff to think about because we're in the same boat. I'm looking for SP help too.

trading contract players is really one's own preferance cause instead of having certain positions "locked up" your gonna have to fill them during the draft. thats why im not trading my Keepers unless i get another keeper back cause even though i may get help this year im losing out on a Top SS for the next 3 years and i'll be trying to fill a tough position with no Tulo/Reyes/Rollins etc to choose from..
does ManRam have to submit our Keepers in Yahoo so the Yahoo draft board doesnt have all our Keepers up there on Draft day, i wont remember over 60 Keepers so i'll use the Player Rankings Yahoo does for a lil' help.. how does that work.

Sparky: i doubt it buddy, im hopin Greinke pitches like he did 2 years ago.. i'll trade him but its gonna have to be for a better guy, i can similiar if not the same stats with Luke Scott at 1B and keep Polanco at 3B. im moving Raburn to 2B and prob gettin' rid of Sanchez.. i'll look at your roster and either counter or reject it.. how many closers you have? runnin' out to get beer, i'l check back in an hour

I just saw your message to jays about Pablo and your need for a 3rd baseman. Just testing the waters...I'm not "after" Greinke but I just figured he was 3rd on your list of your top guys (Cain, Latos and Greinke) and I'd check to see if you were interested.

Since it's hard for anyone to actually want to play in Baltimore...they must have told Gregg he'd be the closer if he signed there. He has to really implode for Koji to get that job, but he should have it in time.

Wow...we really have a barn burner don't we ManRam? You probably still have K's locked up...but ERA/WHIP is a LOT closer than I could have ever imagined after Narveson and Oswalt blew up.

Well it's not shocking AFTER they made their starts. Narveson and Oswalt shit the bed before Liriano and Price did. So I was in a serious hole at one point.
But Gonzalez' other start for you gets swapped with Marcum's gem.
