Week 2 Who to Start Questions

Managed to start 2-1. High scorer in both leagues that I won in.

On to week 2

So here is what I have to work with after working with my roster, let me know who you think I should start if you have time...

QB: Grossman, Collins

WR: H. Nicks, B. Marshall, J. Ford, A. Collie, D. Hester

RB: R. Grant, A. Foster, M. Bush, T. Jones

TE: A. Fasano, J. Cook

K: M. Bryant, C. Barth

DEF: NE, OAK

My planned roster is as follows

QB: Grossman

WR1: Nicks

WR2: Marshall

RB1: A. Foster

RB2: R. Grant

TE: A. Fasano

Flex: C. Spiller

K: M. Bryant

DEF: OAK

Not sure about DEF or Flex (would you sugges Jacoby Ford over Spiller in the FLEX)?  Let me know if you see any other problems...

I'd start Wells & Starks for sure.
Wells finally broke out and looks like a big part of the Cardinals game plan.
I expect the Packers to run a little more this week, and the Panthers were torched by the afforementioned Wells last week.

Tolbert had an amazing game (on my bench) but I can't see him coming close to that this week.
Greene does have a really nice matchup against the Jags.
Blount concerns me.
Let me think about this one. Probably between Tolbert & Greene for me.

Big Stevie Johnson fan and he has a nice matchup against Oakland, but I'd probably lean to Holmes. That Jags secondary might be the worst in the NFL and Sanchez is likely to have another big day.

Fasano is so unreliable. I couldn't handle him as my starter. Cook's not ready though. What's available for TEs on the waiver wire? I like Fred Davis quite a bit this week. Ed Dickson and Jermaine Gresham are also strong free agent options.

You're RB situation is bad. Not sure Foster will play this week either. See if he practices Wednesday. That should be a serious indicator if he's playing this weekend.

I would lean to Jacoby Ford if he plays. Not sure his status either, as he left Sunday's game injured. Don't think it's anything serious but another situation you have to monitor. If he does play, it looks like the Raiders will find ways to get him the ball.

T. Jones doesn't look like a factor. Neither is Collie who is clearly the distant 3rd WR to Garcon. Not good with Kerry Collins under center.

Guess you have to play either Spiller or Bush if Foster is out. Ugh.

Tolbert is probably the safer play. If he stays healthy then I wouldn't be surprised if he led the NFL in TDs this year. Go with him as your 3rd RB.

Which free agent addition you guys like better?

Yeah my RB situation is bad....

So Dickson and Davis are available at TE.

Scott Chandler is available also, had a pretty good game last week but mainly due to 2 TD's

Would anyone suggest dropping Fasano and Cook for Dickson and Davis at TE?

I wouldn't cut bait on Bradford yet.
Ben will be fine. Don't worry about his week 1.

I sold off my one share of DeAngelo Williams for 50 cents on the dollar. Shop him now because in a couple weeks he may not be worth 25 cents on the dollar.

All the Steelers will rebound against the Seahawks. Start Mendy.

I'd feel comfortable starting Wells or Bradshaw.
Wells is likely to get more touches, but with Nicks possibly out I can see the Giants going very run heavy against the Rams. So I guess lean to Bradshaw but don't think you can go wrong either.

The Jets are going to pass more this year but not to the extreme we saw Monday. I think the Cowboys jumping up quickly and keeping the pressure on forced the Jets into a little bit more passing than they wanted.

I'd lean to Starks against the Panthers because at least he showed something last week. Besides, Wells gashed the Panthers on the ground last week and they're without Jon Beason at linebacker.

Make Greene prove something before you start him. Now is his chance though playing the Jags. If he can't do anything this weekend then his prospects don't look good.

I think you have to start Meachem right now with Colston, and maybe even Moore out.

QBs tougher. I'm not very high on Bucs guys right now so I'd probably lean towards Flacco coming off a nice week 1 performance.

I'd suggest it.

As for Chandler, I'd wait and see what he does the next week or two.
