Week 2 Who to Start Questions

Think I'd lean to Cutler or Grossman.
I expect the Saints D to be better this week at home and a couple Cutler turnovers wouldn't shock me. Guess I kind of lean to Grossman. The Cardinals were shredded by Cam Newton and travel across country for an early game. But I'd still be scared to start Rex F'n Grossman.
Like Fitz but can see the Bills getting it done on the ground.

Go Charles, Hightower, & Tolbert for your RBs and flex.
Make Blount prove something first and Reggie Bush's value decreases considerably in non PPR leagues. He can't run between the tackles and won't be getting any short TD runs.

White & Austin.

Tight end is tough. I'm a very similar situation. Have Winslow as well. Picked up Olsen who was available. Pettigrew is also available. If you figure out what the hell to do then let me know.

thats how i have em in my lineup with Bshaw as my flex... do you agree or would you swap Tolbert with someone...

I wanna keep Jones in there, Hightower playing his old team, I like that.. and Bshaw playing on MNF, also like that... Hard to not put in Tolbert after last week.. SD on the road playing a tougher D in NE, but itching to get him in..

I dont think Deangelo is going to do much this year, Stewart looked better but the moneys comminted to Williams. Im not sure Tolbert is 100%, and if he is I expect the Patriots to focus on stopping him

can i start him this week over big ben ? the giants defense stinks , don't see it getting better for coughlin , the boo birds will be out and the crowd can work against the giants if they get down early

I got a question about my team too. High end side betting in the league, so trying to get a W but also players with higher upside are important to me. We play 14 teams deep and 18 players per roster, so not much at all in free agents to helpout.

My QBs: Brady (12th pick overall, happy with that) Bench: Sanchez

WRS: Henderson (signed off free agents mid-game, liked that loophole) Mike Thomas (traded Santana Moss for him and Bernard Scott) Percy Harvin. Bench: Eric Decker (signed him this week and dropped Jerome Simpson) Sidney Rice (hoping he plays)

RBs: Shonn Greene (2nd round pick, stunk so far) Cedric Benson (4th round pick, I loved him in that spot) BJGE (keeper 18th round) Cadillac Williams (drafted late, might be worthwhile now with SJax hurt) Jonathon Stewart (also drafted late)

TES: Finley (3rd round) and Hernandez (late pick)

Kicker: Hanson

Defense: Jets, Lions

For each week we start a QB, 3 WRs, 2 RBS, a Flex (TE, RB, or WR), a kicker and a defense

My main uncertainty is the Flex spot. I am starting Benson and Greene, so the flex play becomes BJGE (lost carries to Woodhead, even goal line late) Hernandez (combos with Brady, and Im leaning towards)  and Cadillac Williams (may start, MNF, late game of the week so I enjoy having a player in that game)

For Flex I need to decide between BJGE, Cadillac, and Hernandez. Leaning Cadillac because I feel he will definitely get a lot of touces, but not really sure. Anyone with any input plmk!

That's tough on your 3rd RB. Bradshaw should get more carries but Tolbert's the better bet for a TD.
I might lean towards Tolbert. Looks like he'll fill that Darren Sproles role so he should add plenty of yards receiving as well.

Ryan Matthews will get more carries so I can't see them designing their defensive gameplan specifically to stop Tolbert.

Big Ben is a top 10 play this week. The Steelers should be out for blood against the Seahawks. And teams traveling west to east to play early games (10AM west coast start) have a history of getting slaughtered. Raiders and Cardinals are also in the same situation this week.

Do you guys have a starting TE spot? I'm guessing you do and just forgot to list it.

Steven Jackson says he hasnt ruled himself out yet, but I would be surprised if he plays. If he doesn't I like Caddy in your flex. Problem is, the Rams play Monday night. If Steven Jackson is a question mark then it's tough for you to wait and see if he plays. If he does, you could be in trouble. Definitely monitor his practice status on Friday.
Not a Law Firm fan at all but surprised he got such few touches week 1. Might lean towards Hernandez until I saw that Law Firm was getting more work.

I still don't trust Cam Newton enough to start him against the Packers. Their defense should pose a few more problems for him than the Cardinals did. He's going to have ups and downs and I'd think this is more likely to be a down. It's close though. And I did recommend to many people not even owning Newton going into last week lol.

I do think Steve Smith is worth starting though. I know a lot of people that had him blow up on their bench last week.

Can you start Reggie Bush? Can say WR/TE flex. If you can then I'd probably start him. Otherwise I'd go with your gut between Harvin and Hernandez. 

Alex Smith makes me afraid of Vernon Davis and he's one of the best TEs in the league.

I'm not sure Jacoby Ford is playing this week so you might have to start Maclin and Gaffney. If Ford does play then I go with him and Maclin.

Don't worry about Maclin. He had pretty much no training camp so it could take a couple games for him to get going. Actually, just traded for him in one of my leagues. Buy low.

Bradshaw and Dez if he plays. Jerry Jones says he will so it must be official lol. If Dez does end up not playing though, I'd go with Manningham since Nicks is hobbled.

Ole Jerry's backed off his comments about Dez being good to go. Sounds like he could be a gametime decision. You might have to play Manningham.

Moreno didn't practice today either so forget about him.

Bush just isn't an option with McFadden healthy. He just doesn't get enough work.

Knox could be a possibility depending on Roy Williams status.

I like Karim and added him in my deep league before last weekend, but I don't think I'd mess with him against the Jets.

Burleson seems like the best play to me. He's clearly a major target of Stafford and I can see some Detroit points against KC at home this week.
