Give me a six pack and a solid recipe and there is nothing better.  A day in the kitchen with the game on in the other room rocks.  Check out the food network for recipes.  It's not that hard once you learn how to use a chef's knife. 

You would be amazed at how good food tastes when it doesn't come out of a box.

Find some episodes of "The Naked Chef" (its a hypethetical name) with Jamie Oliver when he's young. He cooks realistic food with ingredients that aren't too far out. But its fucking good food.
