Hit Subway the other day and got a slice or 2 of meat and a big bun of shit...Had Quiznos a last week and that was shit as well.

 

 

Im done getting any subs...From now on i make my own from the deli/grocery store like i always do...You think these sub places would have respect for themselves - but the quality of there shit has went to the shitter....Hard to beleive fools hit these places all the time....How hard is it to walk into a store buy a bun and head to the deli and get some meant and cheese and make something good.

 

These fucking ripoff artists continue to make money and i dont understand it...Go to a shithole and buy a sandwich

Agreed.  And god forbid you order lettuce on your sub as I like to do, they give you 25 pieces of lettuce and 1 slice of meat.  GOD DAMNIT

I had Subway only once, and I was so offended that I wanted to give the meal back to them.  This is the only reason I make my own sandwiches.

But I think that is how Jared did it.  He lost weight buy reducing the meat intake.

Exactly. I go to my local deli and I get any hero I want for 6$. 2 meats, 2 cheeses lettuce etc. the works. I get 6x the meat/cheese, better bread for 1dollar more? Yessiree. I happen to have awesome deli's around me...if you have a shithole deli nearby then I dont know what to tell you. Eat fresh I guess.

Sorry dude, but you need to look at the people making the sub and where they're coming from. They're getting paid $6 an hour and couldn't give a fuck about what they are dishing out. If you are looking for some pride and self satisfaction from a fast food worker then you will be sorely disappointed.

I am not saying that it is right, but that's how it goes unfortunately. No one in the history of fast food has ever received a burger from McDonalds that even vaguely resembles the pic of the burger shown on the menu.

yeah man nyc has some incredible delli joints that are owned by families that have passed this tradition down from generation to generation. mounds of meat and fixings that are fresh as can be. honestly i feel that these places are losing money with the amount of slices of cold cuts they put on their sandwiches..... fast food sub shops are not that way to go

 Safeway also makes a sub that sells for $5.... It's cheaper than Subway and a whole lot bigger too..

What I think is really good is those fairly new Buffalo Chicken sandwhiches at Subway.  $5 gets you a footlong that can keep you full for a few hours.  The chicken is pretty spicy but it's a healthy change from every other place that says their chicken is spicy when it really is not.  I highly recommend you guys try it.

its gotten so bad i have to ask the idiot making my sub to add more lettuce, peppers, and pickles.....and i get an attitude.  but its one place i dont care about being a prick since i can see them making my food and not throwing some pubes in it.

the last time the lady said thats about enough, and i said i am not getting getting half of the shit i could, load it up.

sadly, i make a sandwich everyday at home for lunch, but these places are so cheap now its almost a wash on the cost.

If have a craving for a loaf of bread.  Schlotzkys isn't too bad.  Although still needs more meat.

What???  A roll of bread costs $2.50?  Where?  You can buy a roll at a grocery store for 50 cents easy.  The other stuff is harder to figure because you can't buy in tiny quanities.  So if you top it with everything, it's kinda hard to duplicate that at home.

I don't know about the bread costing that much as I do find that a little hard to believe. But I have read/heard that a few Subway franchises were getting a class action suit together against Subway, because corporate is forcing them to sell the $5 foot longs and it is costing the franchisees more to make the sub then they are getting in return.

We got a Jersey Mikes in the area and has been there for at least 15 years.  I think Subway and the rest have just given up on the area.  Place isn't bad at all.
