Back in college I had a roomie who used to grow some great stuff in his closet. There was this mix that was called "The Bang" that we used to make.....basically went like this.
Once the buds are all cut from the plants take all the excess plant, leaves, stems, roots etc and put them in a large pot with water. Put this on the stove and turn on the heat. Keep changing the water until the water no longer gets green. I believe this is separating the chlorophyll from the plant but Im not sure. Once the water no longer turns green dump it out and replace it with full fat Vitamin D milk and simmer it for about an hour or so. The milk will turn a minty light green color and most importantly the milkfat will suck up ALL of the THC from the plants.
If any of you try this heed my warning that you will only need to drink a small ammount of this stuff. They dont call it "The Bang" for no reason. The first time I drank it I had a bit too much and had to lock myself up in my room for about 5 hours just to keep my head on straight.
Enjoy

I use a vaporizer regularly, which doesn't actually burn the weed. I like to use the leftover weed (which still has about 50% of the THC) to make brownies. Usually I use about an oz of the vaporized weed per stick of butter, but less would work too. Also, making entire weed meals with the butter is pretty fun, as long as you don't have anything on your schedule.
