Vettel got lucky today. IMO....Pits once, but still gets to use a brand new set under the Red Flag....Who came up with that rule?  Race was exciting till the Red Flag came outl, think Alonso could have gotten him with nearly 15 laps to go and right on his bumper, but we will never know....

 

Oh, forgot....F1 Sucks this year, it is Vettel , with everyone else miles behind with their equipment...Not much fun watching the same guy lead nearly every single lap this year.

Yeah, I can't believe what Vettle did today.  Doing 62 laps on the same set of tires....at Monaco .  Impressive that he was able to fend off Alonso and Button.  I thought Button had a real good chance up until that red flag.  He was on the best tires posting times 2-2.5 seconds quicker than Alonso/Vettle.  Hamilton had a dreadful qualifying and race.  It was clear that he was the fastest car in the pack behind 3rd place, but the drive through, bad pit stop, etc.  All screwed him royally.  Only thing I don't understand is being able to change tires under a red flag.  That rule needs to be changed.  It rewards those in the field with bad tire management.  Vettle would've struggled to get his tires up to temp/pressure and probably would've lost the race to Alonso/Button.  I guess we'll never know.  Lost my two plays on the McLaren driver.  Oh well, on to the next track.  Hamilton is historically quick at Gilles Villenueve so we shall see...

Just bet Vettel every race on the early line around even $$$. Until somebody shows they can win a pole no reason to overthink.
